Nov. 18, 11:03 a.m., Mile 49 Cabins: Melvin R. Chya, 46, allegedly assaulted a family member then tried to fight a third occupant who was trying to call 911. Charges: Assault, interfering with a DV report, disorderly conduct. No bail set.

Nov. 20, 12:31 a.m., Willow: Cassius Philo, 47, Willow, and a woman were allegedly intoxicated when they started arguing, and Philo pushed the woman over a couch onto the floor, hospitalizing her with a shoulder injury. Charge: Assault. No bail set.
THEFT
Nov. 18, 9:23 a.m., Sylvan Rd.: Someone kicked in a door and stole over $1,300 in tools and personal items.
ACCIDENT
Nov. 18, 1:44 p.m., N. Seward-Meridian Pkwy at the entrance to Mat-Su Career and Tech High School: Natalya S. Zagorodnaya, 19, Wasilla, southbound driving a 2009 Honda CRV, attempted to turn right, lost control on the ice and hit a red 2003 Pontiac Grand Am with a 17-year-old driver. Total damage: $3,000. Zagorodnaya cited for speeding. No injuries.
Nov. 19, 11:27 a.m., Old Glenn Hwy. near Knik River Rd.: Joanna M. Draper, 31, Palmer, southbound with her two children, lost control on the ice going around a curve and rolled her 1995 Dodge pickup once. She was hospitalized with minor injuries to her left arm. The pickup was totaled.
Nov. 19, 1:35 p.m., Meadow Lakes Lp. near Gentry Dr.: Thomas Anderson, 71, Wasilla, southbound driving a 2004 Dodge pickup when Stephen Callahan, 18, Wasilla, lost control of his 1997 Mazda sedan and hit the left side of Anderson’s vehicle. No injuries. The Mazda was totaled. Damage to the Dodge: $5,000.

Nov. 19, 2:01 a.m., Mile 49 Parks Hwy.: Marcus W. Kolstad, 32, Wasilla, stopped on a report of suspicious circumstances. Summons: DWLR.
DEATH INVESTIGATIONS
Nov. 19, 3:40 a.m.: Brian A. West, 81, Wasilla, found to have died of a long-term illness at an assisted living home.
Nov. 20, 6:30 a.m.: Arloine M. Logsdon, 85, Palmer, died at home of a long-term illness.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Nov. 19, 3:18 p.m., Palmer Courthouse: Tingook Omyruk Koppenberg, 27, Anchorage, arrested after allegedly becoming disruptive and refusing to stop despite orders from the presiding judge and Alaska State Troopers. Charge: Disorderly conduct. She was jailed and later released on her own recognizance.
