RECKLESS DRIVING

Nov. 16: Benjamin David Loyer, 46, Palmer, issued a summons for reckless driving.

Nov. 18: Charles L. Hansen, 49, Palmer, issued a summons for reckless driving.

THEFT

Nov. 16: A 40-year-old Palmer man reported items stolen from his home.

Nov. 21, Palmer Ice Arena: A 30-year-old Wasilla man reported his vehicle was broken into and aviation equipment was stolen while he was parked at the arena on Nov. 20.

Nov. 22: A 43-year-old Palmer woman reported three snowboards stolen from her backyard. Loss: $960.

WARRANT

Nov. 17: Neil E. Swatsky, 27, Wasilla, arrested on $1,000 warrant for assault.

Nov. 18: Christopher G. Ruddell, 31, Wasilla, arrested on warrant for assault. No bail set.

Nov. 18: Sophia E. Tabios, 20, Palmer, arrested on $500 warrant for failure to appear in court on a DWLR charge.

ASSAULT

Nov. 17: A disturbance at a local residence led to the arrest of a 26-year-old Big Lake man for DV assault and DV criminal mischief.

ACCIDENTS

Nov. 17, Dogwood Ave. and Denali St.: John C. Holland Jr., 44, Wasilla, and George S. Platt, 76, Palmer, were in a wreck. No injuries.

Nov. 17, S. Colony Wy.: Martin C. Coppenrath, 38, Anchorage, collided with Charelle J. Randall, 59, Glennallen.

Nov. 18: A 17-year-old Palmer boy hit Misty M.E. Whitaker, 28, Palmer. Whitaker was hospitalized.

Nov. 20, Palmer Pool entrance: Lois M. Repnow, 35, Palmer, slid off the road and hit a gatepost. Minor injuries.

Nov. 20, Arctic Ave. and Alaska St.: A 16-year-old Palmer girl driving a 2008 Ford Escape hit Olga V. Rusakova, 41, Palmer, who was driving a 2006 Ford Freestyle. No injuries.

Nov. 20, Palmer Ice Arena: A pickup accidentally backed into a decorative tree.

DWLSCR

Nov. 18: Sophia E. Tabios, 20, Palmer, arrested for DWLR. Bail: $1,000.

Nov. 21: Robert Hamburg, 34, Sutton, issued a summons for DWLR.

ELUDING ARREST

Nov. 19: Zackary S. McKenna-Johnston arrested for DWLR, driving in violation of a limited license, eluding arrest and MICS. Bail: $2,500.

DUI

Nov. 20: Jeremy Maurice Fruhwirth, 32, Palmer, stopped for erratic driving. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

VANDALISM

Nov. 22: A 43-year-old Palmer woman reported three people vandalized her house the previous night.

Nov. 22: A 34-year-old Palmer woman reported the window of a Ford truck parked in her yard was shot out. Damage: $200.

REGISTRATION VIOLATION

Nov. 22: Matthew L. Miller, 22, Wasilla, charged with improper use of vehicle registration.

THEFT

Nov. 20, 4:25 p.m., Tesoros station at Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. near Seward Meridian Pkwy.: The day before someone stole three All-Access Visa gift cards worth $100 each.

WARRANTS

Nov. 20, 5:42 p.m., Meadow Lakes Lp. and N. Happy Dr.: Brandon D. Haxton, 26, Wasilla, eastbound driving a 1991 Ford Escort, allegedly ran a stop sign and hit Phyllis M. Clark, 60, Wasilla, who was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu. Haxton arrested on a warrant with the original charges of DWLR and no insurance and on new charges of DWLR and no insurance. Bail: $500. Clark had minor injuries that didn’t require treatment on scene.

Nov. 21, 1:20 a.m., Plymouth Dr.: Garret L. Bishop, 19, Wasilla, arrested on $1,000 warrant for failure to appear in court on DUI, MCA and MOCA charges.

ASSAULT

Nov. 20, 11:45 p.m., Mile 18.5 Knik-Goose Bay Rd.: Joshua L. Ellis, 27, Wasilla, allegedly assaulted a family member with a baseball bat. Charge: Assault. No bail set.

Nov. 22, 1:32 a.m., Elsinore Ave.: Joey Seefeldt, 40, Wasilla, allegedly assaulted a family member and damaged property in a home. Charges: Assault, criminal mischief. No bail set.

DUI

Nov. 21, 1:14 a.m., Parks Hwy. and Stanley Rd.: Steven Wall, 41, Big Lake, drove into the ditch, where troopers found him. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

Nov. 21, 2:30 a.m., Palmer Fred Meyer parking lot: Ashley M. Lindly, 21, Anchorage, stopped for a moving violation. Charge: DUI. Bail: $500.

ACCIDENTS

Nov. 21, 1:35 pm., Palmer-Wasilla Hwy. and 49th State St.: James Hart, 39, Palmer, eastbound, driving a green 1991 Volvo 740 sedan, allegedly failed to stop for a brown 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee being driven by Katherine Mangelsdorf, 24, Palmer, which was stopped in traffic. Total damage: $5,000. One of Hart’s passengers was hospitalized with chest pain and released a couple hours later.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Nov. 22, 1:16 a.m., Jensen Cir.: Etika Timo, 34, Wasilla, arrested at a disturbance. Troopers say he was loud, belligerent and noncompliant with their orders and was breaking things. Charges: Disorderly conduct, DV criminal mischief. No bail set.

Nov. 22, 9:39 a.m., B St.: Khani America Oxereok, 18, Wasilla, allegedly kicked and punched holes in multiple walls during an argument with a family member. Repair cost estimate: $100. Charge: Criminal mischief. No bail set.

Nov. 22, 10:48 a.m., McMillan Ct.: Nicole Foley, 26, Wasilla, allegedly slashed tires on her ex-boyfriend’s 4-wheeler and dirt bike and damaged his snowmachine. Damage: $1,400. Charge: Criminal mischief. No bail set.

DEATH INVESTIGATION

Nov. 22, 10:53 p.m., Elizabeth Dr.: Hugh J. Diehl, 59, Wasilla, found to have died of natural causes.

MIW

Nov. 22, 7:29 p.m., Talkeetna: Austin Davison, 25, Talkeetna, was allegedly firing a shotgun behind a downtown bar while intoxicated. Charge: MIW IV. Bail: $1,000.

PROBATION VIOLATION

Nov. 20, 11:56 p.m., Seward Meridian Pkwy. near Parks Hwy.: Shasta Happs, 28, Wasilla, stopped for a moving violation, allegedly found to have violated her probation by consuming alcohol. No bail.
