Please join me in phoning Sen. Mark Begich to encourage him to support and vote for the health care reform bill that is currently before Congress. This bill is a first step in reforming our present non-health care system.
With this health care reform, overall monies that have been historically wasted will be redirected to the economy. This reform bill will include all Americans who are currently insured as well as those with pre-existing conditions and those who have not been insured in the pats.

The Senate has already passed a thoughtfully crafted health care bill, as has the House of Representatives. The work of the Senate and House supports the third and last step of passing the bill now. We do not need to scrap this bill and start over. The thinking and planning has been going on for well over 10 years. Now is the time to fix a system that is broken.
Please join me in phoning Sen. Begich to let him know we support his efforts to help all Americans and Alaskans.

president of League of Women Voters of Alaska

You are putting the cart before the horse. Winning in November will not change anything for now. It's called VETO power. You would need more than a 60 vote majority. You would need a 2/3 majority to override the President. Ain't gonna happen come November. Any other bright ideas? "

Yes Dems one, and with the power grab they are doing they will lose control again for most likely more then a decade this time and we will take back control and your radical agenda will come to a halt. So when that day comes which will be this November, I want you to remember your words and a deal with us taking back our freedom and undoing what the Dems have done thus far. Just remember your words cause that will be a good day. "

You obviously slept during all your history, economics and civics classes. How else to explain you total ignorance for the 100% failure rate of socialism and big governments? People like you that "trust your government" to do it all for you are a totalitarian's dream. And propogandists LOVE you for blaming all our current economic suffering on 'capitalism'.
