Contestants passed under a small pole — the limbo stick — held up on each end. Each time a contestant endeavoring to pass under the stick knocked it off the stands that held it, that person would be eliminated from the game. Then the stick would be moved down a notch every time a group of contestants passed each level. I can still hear the crowd oohing and ahhing, and the words, “How low can they go?”
Gov. Sean Parnell, how low can we go? How low in our backsliding, immoral and murderous ways will we go before we are willing to admit our depravity and turn back to God’s law as seen in the face of Jesus Christ?

1. The state funded 664 abortions in 2009.
2. Gov. Parnell vetoed money to expand Denali KidCare, saying some of the money paid for abortions.
3. Democratic Sen. Bettye Davis referred to the number of abortions funded by the Denali KidCare program as a “very small number.”
4. In 2009, there were 1,875 abortions done in Alaska.
5. Others have the “procedure” done out of state.
6. These abortions were considered “medically necessary.”
7. Hollis French’s comment was, “Standing between a woman and her doctor is ‘irresponsible.’”
8. The judgment as to when the elimination of a child’s life (abortion) is medically necessary is left to the treating physician and mother.
9. The average cost to the state was $580 per abortion.
I suppose, in the minds of some, this backwoods prophet — having come from the back side of the northern Minnesota swamps, whose early years were filled with milking cows, pitching manure, pulling weeds in the family garden and whose writing would be doomed without a spell check — could not possibly have credentials enough to be heard. Yet, I think the Almighty has taught this poor farmer’s boy a few things, therefore, I speak.
Alaska is now a consumer in the big-dollar abortion industry to the tune of 664 lives having been exterminated in the year of our Lord 2009. Of course, this figure does not reflect prior years. How many thousands of lives have been “legally” exterminated by funds from the state though the years? I don’t know, but this I know: God in heaven has a total and accurate accounting.
Congratulations, Gov. Parnell. You had the backbone to take a stand. It seems apparent to me the average citizen is pretty much persuaded there are few political leaders left in American life who have any fortitude when it comes to standing their ground to do what is right. In other words, our nation’s leaders, and this includes a large portion of our religious leaders, often are not willing to play the man and do what is right according to God’s law; rather, they sell out to popularity and promotion.
Jesus is watching you. He will strengthen you to do good if you abide in Him. If you choose good, He will abundantly reward you, but if you choose evil, in spite of how popular that evil might be, He will judge you accordingly. He will not be mocked. Governor, if there is any hope for this nation, it will necessitate godly men standing up and establishing a backbone and fighting for what is right, according to the fear and wisdom of God.
Davis says Denali KidCare’s extermination of these children is a “very small” number. If it were her life that was to be exterminated (aborted), I suggest she would think very differently.
Although the state funded the killing of 664 innocents in 2009 through the procedure called abortion, there were a total of 1,875 abortions in Alaska. It’s beginning to sound like Hitler’s Germany. Those lives that are not wanted are simply exterminated.
Beyond the 1,875 “legalized” killings performed in 2009, there were those who had the “procedure” done out of state. And, by the way, to be politically correct, an abortion is referred to as a “procedure.” Hmm, isn’t that a handy little cover-up term? I guess you might say Hitler’s Germany inflicted about 6 million “procedures” upon the Jews of Europe. Now I realize Hitler did not command 6 million literal abortions to be performed, but what is the difference how the killings happened? Dead is dead, right?
“Medically necessary” is what these killings were called. It’s the defenseless babies today. Tomorrow it will be the infirm and elderly. I suppose after that, any who do not fit into the popular agenda. Is that not the obvious progression of things?
French, because of the supposed risk to a mother, thinks it is irresponsible to obstruct a woman and her doctor when they propose to kill an innocent child. Let me tell you this. There is no such thing as life without risk, and there certainly never has existed the reality that pregnancy did not contain a risk factor. If you are not willing to assume the risk of pregnancy, don’t be found in the sack with a man. I learned this lesson as a very young child on the farm. When we put a bull in the pen with the fresh cows, by golly, those cows ended up with calves. With pregnancy there is certain risk. That is a fact of life, but it is also a fact that God promises to protect the believing woman in childbirth (1 Timothy 2:15).
So, I guess we should change the Sixth Commandment from “Thou Shalt Not Kill” to “Thou Shalt Not Kill Unless a Woman and Her Doctor Conspire To Do It.” Did not our national fathers base the foundations of this republic on the premise that all men have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?
Well, Alaskans, congratulations. You got quite a bargain on the lives of 664 individuals. You purchased their extermination for only $580 each.
If you think you can go on forsaking the laws and wisdom of the God that birthed this land and continue to prosper, then you are one big bunch of fools. I tell you that as certainly as the Creator gave you two feet to walk upon, He will bring judgment upon this land. If we will not allow the arrogance and self will of our lives to be brought into subjection to Him and His ways, then He will crush us under His heel. He will not be mocked.

The fact I always like is these people are so eager and willing to destroy a babies life with no remorse but then when it comes to the death penalty of a child rapist or murderer they say it is inhuman to kill him.
I ask why do you protect the life of a killer or rapist be believe it is ok for a woman to kill a innocent baby? "

The commandment doesn't say, Abortion is killing, but war is not, nor is capital punishment. Alaska is an enlightened State - no death penalty! Maybe one day our Country may rely neither by might nor power but upon the peaceful Spirit of our Lord. It is my hope and prayer. "

there is a difference between war, murder, and justice. If you think so highly of the way it is done in the Middle East go there and voice your opinion they’ll silence you with a gun. As for the death penalty you are clueless. You should shut up and sit down. "

Why do evangelicals leave out other killiings like killing innocents in war or the death penalty? Thank God Alaska doesn't have the death penalty. What aboujt the killing of abortion doctors when Jesus said we no longer live by revenge, and eye for and eye?.
What about killings in unjust wars like in Iraq where our President's strategy of "Shock and Awe" killed thousands of innocent civilians?
If you hard-liners were more consistent in your opposition to all killing, maybe you would be taken more seriously on the abortion issue. "
