Do you have or work with children? APU is building a Children’s Garden at the Spring Creek Farm 3 miles N of Downtown Palmer for the community of Palmer.
We want your input! Come join us to offer your ideas for an outstanding children’s garden!

Greg and Julie Busch with BuschWhacker Decoys are starting a non-profit fishing club in the Valley called Mat-Su Anglers.
Its purpose shall be to preserve, protect and enhance the opportunities for sport fishing through educational, scientific, governmental and other activities consistent with the preservation and enhancement of fishery resources. We believe in the comradeship and wishes of our fellow sport fishing anglers. We believe that our grandchildren should have a higher quality fishery than we have ever experienced.

The Houston High Schoool Juniors are trying to raise money for their Junior Prom. We are accepting any items or money donations. The items you send in will be auctioned off at a Silent Auction on December 8th at Houston High School. All items will be approved by the H.H.S staff and adminastration. The Silent Auction is being sponsered by H.H.S's Junior treasurer and other class officers.

ATTENTION: Anyone with an interest in the South Palmer Elementary School road access AND residents/drivers of the East Fairview Loop Road should plan on attending a Mat-Su Borough Public Hearing on Thursday, January 22nd. The meeting will take place in the lower level of Evangelo’s Restaurant. An Open House from 4:30 to 6:00 pm will provide the public an opportunity to look at maps and diagrams, as well as to ask questions. At 6:00 pm, Mat-Su Borough Engineers will begin their presentation. (attention commuters: Borough spokesmen claim they will stay later as needed!).
If you drive on Fairview Loop Road or your children ride school buses on Fairview Lp (including parents of children who will attend Sounth Palmer Elementary), this meeting is a MUST ATTEND!
