    That sucks they close the river 4 years in a row for kings, then for silvers and then the place catches on fire! Terrible luck.

    That explains all the sirens heading down KGB this morning. It was quite a response from the sounds of it.


Friday Fling

LaMarr Anderson, outgoing president of the Palmer chapter of Rotary International, welcomes people to the first Friday Fling of the summer May 22. The popular street fair in downtown Palmer runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays through Aug. 14 and features live music and a variety of food and craft vendors. Onstage with Anderson are musician Lulu Smalls, Palmer Mayor DeLena Johnson, Joan Tulstop, owner of Magic Metals, and Kelly Larson, new president of Palmer Rotary.
