Indoor rock climbing

Winter camping class

Christmas Towne

Get into the holiday spirit every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Dec. 24 at Christmas Towne off Camp Gorsuch Road in Chugiak. Cocoa, cookies, holiday lights, and all the sights and smells of the season are available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Civil Air Patrol

Adult members of the Civil Air Patrol meet at the Aero Club Hangar the first and third Tuesdays of each month. Cadets meet every Saturday. For information, call 350-7951.

The Military Society of Model Railroad Engineers meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday and 1 p.m. Saturday in the basement of Matanuska Hall. 

Anyone interested in model railroading is invited.

Wildlife Education Center

Learn more about Alaska’s wildlife and natural resources at this free on-base museum,

with interactive displays for kids. The center, at Building 8481, is open Mondays through Fridays, from noon to 4 p.m., subject to museum personnel availability.
