Denali Harley Davidson ‘Unfair’
Denali Harley Davidson’s “Unfair” continues at the South Hyer Road shop Friday through Sunday. The event started on Thursday. The event was organized to support Alaska State Fair vendors following the cancelation of the 2020 state fair due to the coronavirus pandemic. Themes include pet adoption day on Friday, food bank day on Saturday and Heartreach Day on Sunday. The event is 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday
Alaska Hometown Jamboree hosted by Golden Wheel Amusements
Alaska State Fair’s longtime partner, Golden Wheel Amusements is offering 25 different rides at the Palmer Fairgrounds from 12 to 10 p.m. until Aug. 23.
In addition to rides, familiar carnival games, fair food vendors, as well as a beer garden will be available. Each ticket includes entry and unlimited rides.
“This three-week event will have a selection of your favorite rides, without the lines!”
Masks are recommended for patrons and required for all employees. People are encouraged to preorder tickets off their website since they are limiting grounds capacity to 2,000 people daily. For more information, visit goldenwheelamusements.com.
Palmer’s iconic market, the Friday Fling is free to enter and a family-friendly environment. Every week is a chance to shop for locally grown produce, handmade goods, and fresh meals from food trucks. Plus, there’s always a variety of activities and musical acts at every Fling.
