Oct. 13 AST responded to a domestic assault in Sutton. Investigation revealed that 40 year old Scot Shuford of Sutton committed Assault 2, Assault 3, Assault 4, and violated the conditions of his release from a previous domestic assault incident. Shuford was remanded to Pretrial with no bail.

Oct. 13 at 11:08 p.m. AST dispatch received a call in regards to a disturbance with a firearm in the area of PWH/ Shennum. Upon Troopers arrival the investigation revealed Christopher Cannon (47) of Wasilla was heavily intoxicated while in possession of a handgun. Cannon pointed the weapon at a household member, putting that member in fear of their life. Cannon was arrested for MIW4 4th and Assault 3rd / 4th (DV). He was booked in Matsu Pretrail and was being held without bail.

Oct. 15 at 2:15 p..m. AST assigned to Palmer Judicial Services arrested Jeffrey Graeber, age 57 of Wasilla on an active arrest warrant. Graeber was wanted for fail to comply with conditions of parole. Graeber was remanded to Mat Su Pretrial where he was held without bail pending arraignment.

Oct. 15 at 10:05 p.m. AST dispatch received a call at Matsu Regional Hospital that Ivie Bowles (21) of Wasilla was in the parking lot. Bowles had an active warrant for her arrest for Failure to Comply. Bowles was arrested and transported to Matsu Pretrial and was being held on $250 bail.

Oct. 17 at 1:28 a.m. AST received a report of a juvenile assaulted at a party near Knik River Rd. in Palmer. Investigation is ongoing, if you have any information regarding this incident please contact the Alaska State Troopers at 907-745-2131 or Crime Stoppers at 907-745-3333.

Oct. 16 at 8:27 p.m. MATCOM received reports of a head on collision near mile 50 of the Parks Highway. Scene investigation by Alaska State Troopers determined that a 2009 Ford 4 door car, driven by Melissa Joy Labriola, age 38 of Anchorage, was traveling South when it crossed the center line and struck a 2002 Chevrolet pickup. Melissa Labriola was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the pickup, Gary Alan James Jr., age 35 of Wasilla, was transported to a local Hospital in serious condition. Traffic was re-routed to the recently paved southbound divided lanes. Next of Kin for Labriola have been notified. Investigation is ongoing.

Oct. 17 at 12:48 a.m. AST conducted a traffic stop on a red Chevrolet Silverado for having a plate that belongs to a silver Pontiac near the intersection of Meadow Lakes Loop and Cranberry Lane in Wasilla. Investigation revealed Errol, Keller, age 51 of Houston was driving on a suspended license with no insurance. Keller was issued a misdemeanor citation to appear to Palmer court on a separate date for the charges of Driving While License is Suspended with prior convictions, Improper use of plates, and for No Motor Vehicle Liability insurance. Metal in Motion took responsibility of the vehicle. Keller was released on his own recognizance.

Oct. 17 at 4:18 a.m. AST conducted a traffic stop on a red Oldsmobile near the intersection of Bogard Rd and 49th State St in Palmer for no plates on the vehicle. Investigation revealed Dusty Bannon, age 38 of Palmer, was driving the vehicle with a suspended license, no insurance, and did not register the vehicle. Bannon was issued a misdemeanor citation to appear to Palmer court on a separate date for the charges of Driving While License is Suspended with prior convictions and No Motor Vehicle Liability insurance. Bannon was also cited for not registering the vehicle. The vehicle was towed away by Happy Hooker Towing company. Bannon was released on his own recognizance.

Oct. 17 at 3:29 p.m. AST responded to a report of a disturbance near N Popes Rd in Palmer. Investigation revealed Nathan Hooks, age 24 of Palmer, committed the crimes of Assault 3 DV, Misconducts Involving a Weapon 3, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Assault 4 against Law Enforcement (x3), and Resisting Arrest. Hooks was transported to Mat-Su Pretrial where he was remanded and held without bail.

Oct. 17 at 12:12 p.m. AST responded to a residence near E Ptarmigan Rd in Palmer for a report of a trespass. Janell Murrill, age 31 of Palmer, was located inside of a dwelling on the property that she was trespassed from. Janell was arrested and remanded to Mat-Su Pretrial on Criminal Trespass 1, and 3 outstanding warrants.
