POLICE BEAT: Nov. 11, 2016

Alaska State Troopers

 Nov. 8, 8:46 p.m. Palmer-Wasilla Highway. Troopers arrested 43-year old David Oquendo of Palmer for felony DUI and refusal. Police report being called to Three Bears parking lot to investigate a driver slumped over their seat. Police also report the complainant stated the driver stepped out of the vehicle and appeared impaired.  AST located the vehicle on Bogard Road near Colony High School and stated due to the manner the operator was driving, stopped the vehicle. Oquendo was transported to MSPT for remand where bail was set at No Bail pending arraignment.
