ALASKA STATE TROOPERS
June 12 AT 12:34 p.m. AST arrested 32-year-old Matthew McCarroll of Wasilla on West Carmel Road in Wasilla. McCarroll was charged with Assault 4 (DV) and an active arrest warrant on the O/C of violating a DVPO and taken to MSPT.
June 12 a 11:03 a.m., AST arrested 40-year-old Montague James of Wasilla on active warrants on the O/C’s of Vehicle Theft 1 and Burglary 1. James was taken to MSPT on $500 cash bail.
June 12 at 11:25 a.m., AST contacted two suspects involved in an active fuel theft from a property on Sitze Road. The suspects, 33-year-old James Sullivan and 28-year-old Valarie Ante were contacted on the property and 30-year-old James Oliveri was found nearby hiding under a tarp. Sullivan and Ante were both charged with Criminal Trespass and Oliveri was also charged with two counts of Criminal Trespass and Probation Violation. Olivery was taken to MSPT without bail.
June 12 at 9:34 p.m., AST arrested 37-year-old Simon Unin of Wasilla for Theft 4 and Disorderly Conduct after Unin stole a bottle from Knik Kountry Liquor in Wasilla, fled on foot and fought with arresting officers. Unin was taken to MSPT and released O/R.
Jun3 13 at 7:39 a.m., AST arrested 54-year-old Kevin Cabana and 27-year-old Alyzza Jimenez following a burglary on Cattail Circle in Big Lake. Cabana, Jimenez and a third male broke into a storage unit on the property and stole approximately $3,000 worth of property, most of which was found in Cabana’s vehicle. Both were arrested without bail and Cabana’s vehicle was impounded.
June 1 at 10:00 a.m., AST issued a summons to 26-year-old Diego Guzman of Willow for Harassment 2 following a disturbance in the Willow area.
June 14 at 1:54 p.m., AST arrested 36-year-old Brandi Slover of Wasilla near the Parks Highway and Pittman Road after she gave and 11-year-old marijuana. Slover was taken to MSPT on charges of MICS 2 and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor without bail.
June 14 at 10:36 a.m., Anchorage Pretrial Enforcement Officers communicated to AST that 21-year-old Christopher Escobar of Anchorage had violated conditions of release by leaving Anchorage. AST arrested Escobar on Cotton Creek Circle in Wasilla for VCOR and warrants for Burglary 2, Assault 3 and Criminal Mischief 3 and taken to MSPT without bail.
June 13 at 6:54 p.m., Glennallen AST arrested Michael Reedy for Felony DUI and Criminal Mischief 3. After being taken to the Glennallen Trooper post, Reedy caused $1,000 of damage.
June 14 at 1:13 a.m., AST arrested 42-year-old Lottie Olemaun of Wasilla for intentionally damaging $200 worth of property belonging to her roommate. Olemaun was taken to MSPT on charges of Criminal Mischief 5 without bail.
June 14 at 7:45 a.m., a DOT crew contated AST to report theft of two GPS units from a vehicle near Rainbow Street. Each GPS unit is valued at $25,000.
June 14 at 5:14 a.m., AST arrested 44-year-old George Yako of Willow on five counts of ASsault 3, and Assault 4 and one count of MIWS 4. Yako was taken to MSPT without bail.
June 13 at 4:38 a.m., AST arrested 27-year-old Christopher Jorge of Wasilla for VCOR. Jorge was taken to MSPT without bail.
June 15 at 11:33 p.m., AST arrested 30-year-old Amber Leachman of Big Lake for DUI following a single vehicle rollover near mile 135 of the Richardson Highway. Leachman was taken to the Glennallen Trooper post.
June 16 at 4:00 a.m., AST arrested 29-year-old Derek Welsh of Wasilla for two outstanding arrest warrants on Sasbo Bluff Loop in Wasilla. Welsh was taken to MSPT.
June 17 at 11:04 a.m., AST arrested 28-year-old Jacob Starr of Wasilla on an outstanding warrant on the O/C of Fugitive from Justice out of Arizona. Starr was taken to MSPT without bail.
June 17 at 4:12 p.m., AST observed a stolen vehicle parked at the Post Office on Knik-Goose Bay Road in Wasilla. The driver of the vehicle, 52-year-old Nathan Adams of Wasilla failed to yield and led AST on a pursuit. Troopers were able to arrest Adams without incident and charged Adams with Theft 2, Failure to Stop, Reckless Driving, Avoidance of an Ignition Interlock Device and a $500 Theft 4 warrant out of Fairbanks. Adams was taken to MSPT without bail.
June 16 at 2:04 p.m., AST received a report of a dangerous driver near the Tok cut off. Glennallen AST arrested 56-year-old Chistochina resident Roy Hanchock for DUI after Hanchock provided a .153 breath sample. Hanchock is being held at the Glennallen Trooper Post.
June 18, AST arrested 35-year-old Johnnie Netherton of Wasilla violated a DVPO related to his June 10 arrest for Assault 4 (DV). Netherton violated the order and was taken to MSPT on one count of Violating a DVPO without bail.
June 17 at 5:37 p.m., AST arrested 31-year-old Gregory Otten of Palmer for Assault 3 and Assault 4 following a disturbance on Hazelwood Circle in Palmer. Otten was taken to MPST.
ALASKA WILDLIFE TROOPERS
June 15, AWT cited 28-year-old Kiril Reutov of Wasilla $200 for Vessel identification in Cordova.
PALMER POLICE DEPARTMENT
June 12, PPD issued a summons to 28-year-old Rosebud Sweeney of Palmer for Criminal Trespass 2.
June 14, PPD arrested 26-year-old Justice Maxwell of Palmer for DUI. Maxwell was taken to MSPT and released O/R.
June 16, PPD issued a summons to 28-year-old Rosebud Sweeney of Palmer for Attempted Theft 4 and Criminal Trespass 1.
June 15, PPD arrested 26-year-old Shaunna Converse of Wasilla for DUI. Converse was taken to MSPT and released O/R.
June 16, PPD arrested 46-year-old Terina Alcantra of Palmer for being Intoxicated on Licensed Premises. Alcantra was taken to MSPT and released O/R.
WASILLA POLICE DEPARTMENT
June 10 at 2:45 a.m., WPD cited 19-year-old Trysten Torkelson following a traffic stop at the intersection of Riley Avenue and Endeavor Street. Torkelson failed FST’s and was charged with Minor Operating Vehicle After Consuming Alcohol and allowed to leave in a taxi.
June 10 at 11:21 a.m., WPD received a report of $1,500 worth of climbing gear stolen from Burchell High School.
June 10 at 2:45 p.m., WPD arrested 35-year-old Brittany Dolechek of Wasilla for trespassing at the Turn-A-Leaf store. Dolechek also had an active arrest warrant and had stolen items in her pants. Dolechek was taken to MSPT on the warrant and a charge of Criminal Trespass 1 was submitted to the DAO.
June 11 at 12:58 a.m., issued summons for lack of registration and motor vehicle liability insurance to James Barnes at the intersection of Knik-Goose Bay and Centaur Avenue.
June 11 at 9:00 a.m., WPD arrested Brandin Hochstrasser at Fred Meyer after he had previously been trespassed from that location. Hochstrasser was taken to MSPT on charges of Criminal Trespass 2.
June 11 at 8:56 p.m., WPD arrested 28-year-old Rosebud Sweeney of Palmer at Carrs. WPD had advised Sweeney to leave the area as she had been previously trespassed and arrested Sweeney when she returned after WPD had left the area. Sweeney was taken to MSPT on charges of Criminal Trespass.
June 13 at 1:00 p.m., WPD arrested Corey Wolff of Wasilla on charges of Criminal Trespass 2 after he had previously been trespassed from a residence on North Yenlo Street. Wolff was taken to MSPT.
June 14 at 9:15 a.m., WPD responded to a report of two people parked at Walmart smoking drugs and arrested Benjamin Wilson for MICS 2. Wilson was taken to MSPT at 11:45 a.m., without bail.
June 14 9:58 p.m., WPD received a report that a counterfeit $50 bill was used to pay for a meal at El Chepo’s restaurant.
June 14 at 2:55 a.m., WPD received a report of a verbal disturbance near Church Road and Success Drive and found that 24-year-old Calvin John-Mattews of Wasilla had allegedly assaulted a female. John-Matthews fled the scene and investigation is ongoing.
June 15 at 4:05 a.m., WPD arrested 28-year-old Rosebud Sweeney of Palmer for Criminal Trespass 2 at Carrs.
June 15 at 5:03 a.m., WPD arrested Selena Bourgeois who was leaving the Creekside and Glenwood area as an intoxicated driver. Bourgeois refused to submit to a PBT and was taken to MSPT on charges of DLWR and two counts of VCOR.
June 15 at 12:40 p.m., Casey Petrin turned herself into the WPD for VCOR in connection to a recent DV case. Petrin was taken to MSPT on charges of VCOR without bail.
June 15 at 8:56 p.m., WPD arrested Dusty Knighten for DUI after responding to a report of someone casing a vehicle in the Matanuska Towing and Recovery lot.
June 16 at 2:53 a.m., WPD arrested both 21-year-old Corey Wolff and 20-year-old Lucien Blodgett who were involved in an altercation in the Mug-Shot Saloon parking lot. Blodgett brandished a butcher knife and both suspects were arrested for Trespass 2 after refusing to leave. Blodgett is also being charged with Assault 3 through the DAO.
June 16 at 11:18 p.m., WPD arrested Joseph Poor for Assault 4 (DV) on South Corkey Street. Poor was taken to MSPT.
