ALASKA STATE TROOPERS

July 10 at 11:00 p.m., AST arrested 29-year-old Courtney Weeks of Wasilla for an arrest warrant on the O/C of Theft 2 on Pioneer Peak Drive in Wasilla. Weeks was taken to MSPT on $2,500 bail.

July 11 at 2:01 p.m., AST with Palmer Judicial Services arrested 21-year-old William Dovba of Wasilla at Palmer Court on an outstanding warrant for Vehicle Theft 1. Dovba was taken to MSPT with no bail and time to serve.

July 11 at 11:30 p.m., AST arrested 29-year-old Garret Bishop of Wasilla following an attempted traffic stop on Blind Nick Drive in Wasilla. Bishop fled from the vehicle to the woods and was discovered when he puffed a cloud of smoke while hiding. Bishop had active warrants for Assault 1, 2, 3, 4, Disorderly Conduct and VCOR. Bishop was taken to MSPT without bail.

July 11 at 11:31 p.m., AST arrested 38-year-old Travis Munson of Wasilla after he was the passenger during a traffic stop at the intersection of Fairview Loop and Candywine Road in Wasilla. Munson was taken to MSPT on charges of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender 1 without bail.

July 12 at 12:45 a.m., AST arrested 61-year-old Harold Bartko of Palmer on Jewel Street following a report of a disturbance. Bartko was taken to MSPT on $500 bail on an active arrest warrant for failure to yield.

July 12 at 4:50 a.m., AST arrested 32-year-old Branden Heller of Wasilla following a traffic stop where Heller was found to be DWLS. Additionally, Heller was found to be in possession of controlled substances and taken to MSPT on two charges of MICS 5 and DWLS. Heller was released O/R.

July 12 at 5:23 a.m., AST arrested 42-year-old Joey Larson of Anchorage after he was reported asleep at the wheel of his vehicle at a gas station in Big Lake. Larson performed poorly on FSTs and was taken to MSPT without bail on charges of Felony DUI.

July 12 at 7:00 p.m., AST arrested 64-year-old Donna Miller of Wasilla after she was stopped for a moving violation near mile 87 of the Sterling Highway in Soldotna and found to be impaired by marijuana. Miller was taken to WPC on charges of DUI.

July 13 at 2:01 a.m., AST arrested 21-year-ol Nathaniel Tolbert of Palmer for DUI near the Glenn Highway and Evergreen Avenue in Palmer. Tolbert was taken to MSPT where he was released O/R.

July 13 at 2:35 a.m., AST issued a misdemeanor to 32-year-old Matthew Jones of Willow near Mile 71 of the Parks Highway for Theft 4 after Jones was found to have stolen $50 worth in two gas cans from the DOT yard in Willow.

July 13 at 2:36 a.m., AST arrested 29-year-old Christopher Randall of Palmer on Wolverine Avenue in Palmer for Assault 4 (DV). Randall was taken to MSPT.

July 13 at 7:16 a.m., AST received a report of $2,000 in items and a green mid 1990’s Ford F-350 flatbed were stolen from a business off Bogard Road in Palmer.

July 13 at 9:44 a.m., Glennallen arrested 27-year-old Skylar Schenk of Copper Center on an active arrest warrant from Fish and Game for Prohibited Conduct and False Entry in Guided Charter Logbook. Schenk was taken to MSPT on $100 cash bail.

July 13 at 12:30 p.m., AST arrested 42-year-old Alexander Reutov of Wasilla following a traffic stop for a moving violation near the intersection of Old Matanuska Road and Shannon Street in Wasilla. Reutov was taken to MSPT on charges of DUI and released O/R.

July 13 at 1:04 p.m., AST received a report of $650 in Stihl yard tools stolen from a residence off Finger Lake Road in Palmer.

July 13 at 7:04 p.m., AST arrested both 41-year-old Jeremy Heidy of Wasilla and 24-year-old Felicia Larsen of Wasilla. Both were engaged in an altercation while in violation of long-term no-contact DVPO’s that both had issued against each other. Both were taken to MSPT.

July 14 at 12:17 a.m., AST arrested 45-year-old Anthony Kortas of Houston on an active arrest warrant on the O/C of Assault 4. Kortas was taken to MSPT on $250 bail.

July 14 at 2:00 a.m., AST arrested Colton Crawford on Bogard Road in Wasilla on a misdemeanor VCOR warrant. Crawford was taken to MSPT without bail without incident.

July 14 at 3:30 a.m., AST arrested 22-year-old Kaitlin Imboden of Wasilla on an arrest warrant on the O/C of VCOR and an additional MICS 5 charge at a residence on Susitna Bay Drive in Wasilla. Imboden was taken to MSPT.

July 14 at 4:53 a.m., AST responded to Three Bears on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway for a report of a driver passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle. AST identified 26-year-old Benjamin Sparrow of Anchorage in the driver’s seat and 25-year-old Jarvis Wallace in the passenger’s seat. Sparrow was in possession of a handgun in plain view as a convicted felon and also charged with MICS 5 and VCOR. Jarvis was also arrested for five counts of VCOR and MICS 5. Benjamin was held without bail and Jarvis was held on $1,750 cash bail.

July 14 at 11:45 a.m., AST arrested 20-year-old Ian Roberts of Wasilla on an outstanding arrest warrant on the O/C’s of Assault 4 and Criminal Mischief 5 as Roberts was walking along the Parks Highway in Houston. Roberts was taken to MSPT without bail.

July 14 at 9:31 p.m., AST arrested 21-year-old Adrianna Dugan of Wasilla for Disorderly Conduct on Fairview Loop Road near Coten Drive in Wasilla. Dugan was taken to MSPT and released O/R.

July 14 at 11:30 p.m., AST arrested 37-year-old Terry Brown of Willow after a pursuit where Brown sped at 100 MPH when AST attempted to stop Brown near mile 88 of the Parks Highway in Willow. Brown was driving a 2009 Chevy van suspected in numerous willow thefts and led Troopers on a 47-minute pursuit. Brown was eventually arrested at mile 153 of the Parks Highway and taken to MSPT on a Federal probation violation warrant and three Felony AST warrants. Brown was also charged with Fail to Stop at the Direction of a Peace Officer 1 and Reckless Endangerment (DV) for the chase. Cantwell AST arrived shortly after Brown was stopped.

July 15 at 12:16 a.m., AST arrested stopped 43-year-old Tommy Phillip of and 21-year-old David Nose, both of Wasilla, near mile 1 of Kenai Spur Road in Soldotna. The 46 sockeye salmon in Phillip’s possession were not recorded on his personal use permit, and Nose’s 9 sockeye were also not recorded on his permit as required. Nose also had an active arrest warrant for unrelated wildlife violations. Both were issued citations for Fail to Record and Nose was taken to WPC on $500 bail.

July 15 at 12:20 a.m., AST arrested 28-year-old Amy Chagluak of Wasilla after she was reported as a dangerous driver. Chagluak was taken to MSPT on charges of DUI and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test and released O/R.

July 15 at 9:15 a.m., AST with Palmer Judicial Services warrant unit contacted 19-year-old Jacob Waibel of Wasilla at the Palmer Courthouse. Waibel had an outstanding VCOR warrant on the O/C of Assault 4 (DV) and was taken to MSPT without bail.

July 16 at 3:38 p.m., AST received a report that a 10mm Glock pistol and wallet were stolen from a vehicle on Palomino Lane in Palmer.

July 17 at 12:39 a.m., AST arrested 33-year-old Hailey Grangaard of Wasilla for Disorderly Conduct following a disturbance off of Shrock Road in Wasilla. Grangaard was taken to MSPT and released O/R.

ALASKA WILDLIFE TROOPERS

July 8, AWT in Nushagak Bay cited 55-year-old Alexandar Basargin of Wasilla for commercial fishing in closed waters.

July 13, AWT in Kodiak cited 21-year-old Jeffery Winegarden of Wasilla $70 for failure to register his seine vessel.

July 14, AWT in Kenai cited 42-year-old Stacey Rice of Wasilla $220 for lack of a dipnet license on the Kenai River.

July 15, AWT in Anchor Point issued a $270 citation to 42-year-old Corey Hollenberg of Wasilla for working as a crew member onboard a vessel without a valid license.

PALMER POLICE DEPARTMENT

July 8, PPD arrested 24-year-old Katy Gonzales of Palmer on a $250 warrant for Criminal Trespass 2 and Theft 4. Gonzales was taken to MSPT.

July 8, PPD arrested 21-year-old Conor Carvalho of Wasilla, 21-year-old Matthias Gibbs of Wasilla and 25-year-old Charles Leslie of Palmer for Robbery 1, Theft 2 and Assault 3. All three were taken to MSPT without bail.

July 8, PPD arrested 25-year-old Angel Abarca on a $500 FTC warrant on the O/C of MICS 2. Abarca was taken to MSPT.

July 12, PPD arrested 49-year-old Allen Zirkle of Palmer for Disorderly Conduct 1 and Harassment 1. Zirkle was taken to MSPT and released O/R.

July 12, PPD arrested 40-year-old Esmerelda Zirkle of Palmer for Assault 4. Zirkle was taken to MSPT without bail.

July 12, PPD arrested 48-year-old Derrick Nichols of Palmer for Disorderly Conduct. Nichols was taken to MSPT and released O/R.

July 14, PPD arrested 42-year-old Terra Stanley of Palmer for DWLR and MICS 4. Stanley was taken to MSPT on $1,000 bail.

July 14, PPD arrested 34-year-old Michael Ellis of Palmer on two counts of Assault 4, Criminal Mischief, and Interfere with a Report of DV. Ellis was taken to MSPT without bail.

WASILLA POLICE DEPARTMENT

July 8 at 7:18 p.m., WPD arrested Dakota Troseth for DWLR and VCOR following a traffic stop on Clapp Street and Aviation Avenue. Troseth was taken to MSPT.

July 9 at 4:29 p.m., WPD arrested 40-year-old Jodie Chiodo of Wasilla after she admitted to shoplifting over $1,00 in items from Fred Meyer. Chiodo was taken to MSPT for Theft 2.

July 9 at 6:51 p.m., WPD arrested Kenneth Halverson at Target after he had been trespassed for life. Halverson was taken to MSPT on charges of Criminal Trespass 2.

July 9 at 10:27 p.m., WPD received a report of a counterfeit bill passed at the Trout House in Wasilla.

July 10 at 6:44 p.m., WPD responded to a report of four people trespassing at the Tesoro on East Parks Highway. WPD contacted Donald Ham who could not provide any proof of purchase for a shopping cart full of merchandise from Fred Meyer. The merchandise was brought back to Fred Meyer. As Ham was told to leave the store, he grabbed a handful of grapes and ate them in front of WPD as he walked out the store, making to attempt to pay. Ham was charged with Theft 4.

July 11 at 6:40 p.m., WPD arrested Damion Silvasy for Criminal Mischief 5 (DV) after responding to a report of a disturbance on Yenlo Street. Silvasy was taken to MSPT.

July 11 at 8:28 p.m., WPD arrested Mark Jaramillo for DUI after he was reported asleep at the wheel at the intersection of the Parks Highway and Main Street in Wasilla. Jaramillo was taken to MSPT for Felony DUI and an arrest warrant.

July 11 at 10:35 p.m., WPD issued a summons to Dylan Pollard after he was discovered in the Walmart restroom with $120.08 in merchandise on his person.

July 12 at 3:07 a.m., WPD stopped Diane Withrow of Wasilla driving Aron Jonz. Withrow was driving on an expired license with improper plates and no insurance. Jonz had two no-bail arrest warrants and was in possession of a stolen handgun. The vehicle was impounded and Jonz was taken to MSPT.

July 12, WPD responded to a report of two people living in an outhouse at Cottonwood Creek Park and forwarded charges of Criminal Trespass 2 for 31-year-old Dave Howard and Reahna Hayes, both of Wasilla. The pair had previously been evicted from the outhouse on a prior occasion.

July 12 at 5:24 p.m., WPD arrested Jennifer Marrs after she was a passenger in a two-vehicle collision. Marrs was found with hypodermic needles, suboxone and methamphetamines in her purse and taken to MSPT on two charges of MICS 4.

July 12 at 8:09 p.m., WPD arrested Brittany Dolechek of Wasilla at Turn-A-Leaf thrift store on Swanson Street. Dolecheck had been contacted in response to a report of a woman shoplifting an entire cart of groceries from Carrs. Dolecheck had an active arrest warrant and was sitting behind Turn-A-Leaf with an entire cart of groceries and four bags of groceries stashed in the woods nearby. Dolechek has a lifetime ban from both Carrs and Turn-A-Leaf and was taken to MSPT on charges of Theft 2 and Criminal Trespass 1 for the $1006.31 in shoplifted items.

July 12 at 11:47 p.m., WPD arrested Robert Sirmans for Criminal Mischief 3 (DV) following a disturbance on Success Avenue in Wasilla. Sirmans was taken to MSPT.

July 13 at 11:34 a.m., WPD received a report of $5,000 in items stolen the night before from a residence on South Althea Street in Wasilla.

July 13 at 8:47 p.m., WPD arrested David Andrews for DUI after he admitted to smoking marijuana prior to driving. Andrews was taken to MSPT.

July 14 at 8:16 p.m., WPD arrested Kenneth Stansberry Jr. for DUI after he was reported driving with an open container of alcohol. Stansberry was taken to MSPT.

July 14 at 11:36 p.m., WPD arrested 36-year-old Isaac Storud of Wasilla for Disorderly Conduct.
