April 24, AST issued a mandatory court citation for concealment of merchandise to 24-year-old Victoria Laports of Big Lake who had attempted to steal less than $10 of food from Three Bears. Laporte was trespassed from all Three Bears Stores.
April 23 at 9:33 p.m., AST received a report of stolen goods sometime between midnight on April 21 and 11:30 p.m., on April 23.
April 23 at 9:09 p.m., AST arrested 59-year-old Beverly Datri of Anchorage for DUI, and two counts of Assault 3. Datri collided with another vehicle on the Parks Highway near Stanley Drive and was taken to MSPT without bail.
April 24 at 6:38 a.m., AST received a report that someone stole multiple Dewalt brand cordless tools from an unlocked work van parked at a private residence on Cottonwood Loop in Wasilla.
April 24 at 7:16 p.m., AST arrested 53-year-old Ward Davis of Wasilla for DUI. Ward’s vehicle broke down near Birch Cove Drive and Vine Road in Wasilla and Ward was taken to MSPT and later released O/R.
April 25 at 2:57 p.m., AST arrested 37-year-old Michel Busby of Wasilla on a $100 FTA warrant on the O/C of Assault 4. Busby was stopped in traffic on the Parks Highway in Wasilla and taken to MSPT on $100 bail.
April 25 at 12:30 p.m., AST arrested 23-year-old Corey Madsen of Wasilla for two counts each of Assault 4 (DV) near Joe’s Drive in Wasilla. Madsen was taken to MSPT without bail.
April 25 at 10:11 a.m., AST arrested 41-year-old Benjamin Wilson of Wasilla for violating a DVPO. AST responded to an address in Settler’s Bay and took Wilson to MSPT.
April 26 at 10:40 p.m., AST arrested 50-year-old Alfred Dixson following a short pursuit reaching speeds of 75 MPH. Dixson swerved about the roadway and his 1999 Toyota Sienna van had no tail lights. Dixson eluded Troopers from the intersection of the Parks Highway and Museum Drive in Wasilla and crashed into a berm on Aviation Avenue. Dixson was taken to MSPT on charges of Failure to Stop, Reckless Driving, and two warrants out of Palmer without bail.
April 27 at 4:02 a.m., AST located 26-year-old Troy Lockwood of Wasilla who had fled AST after a disturbance was called in on Creekwood Park Circle in Wasilla. WPD K9 Echo assisted in locating Lockwood a short distance from the residence. Lockwood was taken to MSPT on three charges of Assault 4 and one count each of Reckless Endangerment, Criminal Mischief 4 and Interfering with the report of a DV crime.
April 28 at 2:30 p.m., AST received a report of an assault and arrested 26-year-old Jaysen Robinson of Anchorage who was arrested for Assault 4 (DV) and taken to the Glennallen AST holding cell pending arraignment. Alcohol is a factor.
April 26 at 6:55 p.m., AST arrested 41-year-old Damyan Riggins of Wasilla following an assault on Dean Drive in Wasilla. Riggins had an outstanding Federal Probation Warrant for FTC with probation. Riggins was arrested for Assault 4 (DV) and the outstanding warrant and taken to MSPT without bail.
April 27 at 11:03 p.m., AST arrested 32-year-old Derik Egger of Palmer for DUI after receiving a report of a man slumped over the wheel of a vehicle near the Knik River access ramp. Egger was taken to MSPT and released O/R.
April 26 at 5:35 a.m., AST received a report of a single vehicle motor collision near the intersection of Big Lake Road and the Parks Highway and forwarded charges on 34-year-old Jacob Debuck of Wasilla for DUI.
April 29 at 12:45 p.m., AST issued a mandatory court citation to 23-year-old Patric Thistle of Wasilla who concealed $13.89 of merchandise from the Pittman Three Bears. Thistle’s citation was for Theft 4/Concealment of Merchandise and he was released.
April 29 at 7:40 a.m., AST received a report that electronics, a five weight fly rod, and $750 worth of items in total were stolen from an unlocked vehicle off West Shearwater Street in Wasilla.
April 29 at 9:11 p.m., AST arrested 38-year-old Carrie Sisson of Wasilla, following a reported assault on Agate Lane in Wasilla. Carrie Sisson was taken to MSPT on charges of Criminal Mischief 3 (DV) and Assault 4 (DV). Additionally, 51-year-old Jimmy Sisson was charged with Assault 4 through the DAO.
April 29 at 4:25 p.m., AST arrested 32-year-old Seven Frerichs of Palmer near Bogard Road and Stringfield Road in Palmer for an active no bail arrest warrant. Frerichs was taken to MSPT.
April 30 at 2:41 p.m., AST arrested 37-year-old Wanda Haisley of Wasilla for stealing less than $50 of property from a residence on Williwaw Way in Wasilla. Haisley was taken to MSPT without bail.
April 15 at 3:35 p.m., AST with the Child Abuse Investigation Unit investigated claims made that 62-year-old Michael Felch had inapproprite contact with a child under the age of 13. Felch was indicted on one count of SAM 1 and two counts of SAM II. Felch is a licensed foster parent but currently has no children in the home, and a no bail arrest warrant was issued. Felch was arrested on May 1 at 3:46 p.m. on Tait Drive in Wasilla.
April 30 at 2:43 p.m., AST arrested 25-year-old Jessicac Copeland of Wasilla for an outstanding Assault 4 warrant. Copeland was taken to MSPT on $500 bail.
May 1 at 8:15 a.m., AST arrested 35-year-old Morgan Rooney of Wasilla for Assault 3 (DV) and Assault 4 (DV). Rooney was taken to MSPT.
April 30 at 10:12 p.m., AST arrested 36-year-old Jacob Still of Wasilla on two outstanding arrest warrants on Dean Drive in Wasilla. Still was hiding in a pile of clothes and taken to MSPT on $1,000 cash corporate bail and $500 cash performance bail.
May 1, AST responded to a disturbance and arrested 35-year-old Nadine Drayton of Wasilla for Assault 4 (DV). Drayton was taken to MSPT without bail.
May 2 at 3:32 a.m., AST arrested 28-year-old Jorda Kovash of Talkeetna for DUI. Kovash was taken to MSPT.
ALASKA WILDLIFE TROOPERS
February 27, AWT received a report that a calm moose was shot near Rex-Bell Drive in Point Mackenzie. Investigation revealed that 64-year-old Thomas Saddler of Point Mackenzie shot a calf moose out of season and concealed it with 28-year-old James Eychaner of Wasilla in Saddler’s garage. The moose was seized and the meat was donated to charity. On March 1, Saddler was arrested for parole violations related to the moose offenses. Eychaner was also convicted of unlawful possession of illegal game and sentenced to a $520 fine and $1,000 restitution. May 1, Saddler pled guilty to taking a moose closed season, two merged counts of unlawful possession of game, and one count of compounding. Saddler was sentenced to a total of $5,000 in fines with 30 days in jail and 30 days suspended for compounding. Saddler’s hunting privileges have been revoked for two years and Saddler has served 61 days in jail. Saddler and Eychaner were also sentenced to pay $1,000 in restitution for the moose.

April 22, PPD arrested 29-year-old Amy Gales of Wasilla for VCOR. Gales was taken to MSPT without bail.
April 22, PPD arrested 26-year-old Arthur Koppenberg of Palmer for VCOR. Koppenberg was taken to MSPT on $1,000 bail.
April 23, PPD arrested Bobbie Marie Jones of Palmer on a $400 warrant for Theft 3. Jones was taken to MSPT.
April 23, PPD arrested 22-year-old Tanner Hooks of Palmer for Theft 4 and Criminal Trespass 2. Hooks was taken to MSPT and released O/R.
April 23, PPD arrested 56-year-old Howard Hoelscher of Palmer for VCOR and Criminal Trespass 2. Hoelscher was taken to MSPT on $250 bail.
April 25, PPD arrested 29-year-old Bryce Berg of Wasilla on two arrest warrants for FTR on the O/C of Vehicle Theft 1 and VCOR. Berg was taken to MSPT without bail.
April 27, PPD investigated a break-in to the Palmer Little League equipment complex.
