November 15 at 10:41 a.m., AST received a report of a skidsteer, jackhammer, generator, and other stools valuing over $60,000 stolen from a business near Palmer Fishhook Road.

November 16 at 10:47 p.m., AST received a report that someone siphoned gas, stole a chainsaw, Sawzall, a wrench set and other tools from a business on East Dimond Way in Wasilla in the early morning of Friday, November 15.

November 16 at 10:48 p.m., AST arrested 49-year-old Michael Pelkey for DUI following a single vehicle rollover at the intersection of the Parks Highway and King Arthur Drive in Houston. Pelkey was taken to MSPT and released O/R.

November 17 at 2:15 a.m., AST arrested 35-year-old James McGee of Wasilla after a suspicious vehicle was observed on Schulz Drive in Wasilla. McGee was located hiding in a nearby shed and had two felony warrants for Parole Violation. McGee was taken to MSPT without bail.

November 17 at 3:22 p.m., AST arrested 42-year-old Destiny Stark of Sutton after she had shoplifted from Three Bears on Pittman Road in Wasilla. Stark additionally had four outstanding warrants on the O/C of Assault 3 and Theft 4. Stark was taken to MSPT without bail.

November 17 at 6:35 p.m., AST arrested 29-year-old Kyle Duckett of Texas after responding to a burglary in progress near Georgeson Drive in Palmer. Duckett was charged with Criminal Mischief 3 and Criminal Trespass 2 and taken to MSPT without bail.

November 18 at 1:22 a.m., AST arrested 41-year-old Christopher Ruddell of Sutton on an outstanding warrant on the O/C of Theft 4. Ruddell was taken to MSPT on $200 bail.

November 18 at 7:58 a.m., AST received a report of a stolen blue 2002 Chevy 2500 Silverado with Alaska license plates JCL357 from Schelin Spur in Palmer at approximately 11:50 p.m. on November 17.

November 18 at 8:20 a.m., AST received a report of a large quantity of copper pipe and fittings stolen from a construction site on East Greenstreet Circle in Wasilla between 5:00 p.m. on November 15 at 7:00 a.m. on November 16.

November 18 at 3:59 p.m., AST issued a summons to 28-year-old Amanda Stoltze of Wasilla after she was detained by LP at Three Bears on Knik-Goose Bay Road in Wasilla. Stoltze fled the store and was detained again and found to be in possession of a stolen toothbrush. Stoltze was issued a summons for Theft 4 and Concealment of Merchandise.

November 18 at 6:22 p.m., AST arrested 38-year-old Cathy Fife of Wasilla who had trespassed onto a property on Spruce Drive in Wasilla and additionally had an active arrest warrant for FTA on the O/C of Burglary 1, Criminal Trespass 1, and Criminal Mischief 4. Fife was charged with Criminal Trespass 2 (DV), VCOR, Unlawful Contact 1 (DV) and the warrant and was taken to MSPT without bail.

Palmer Police Department

November 11, PPD issued a summons to 33-year-old Zachary McKenna-Johnstone of Palmer for Criminal Mischief 5.

November 11, PPD arrested 36-year-old Marjorie Labriola of Palmer for Assault 4. Labriola was taken to MSPT without bail.

November 14, PPD arrested 20-year-old Aaron Wirtanen of Palmer on a $1,000 warrant for FTC with conditions of probation on the O/C of DUI. Wirtanen was taken to MSPT.

November 15, PPD arrested 33-year-old Trent White of Palmer on a $100 FTA warrant on the O/C of Criminal Trespass 2. White was taken to MSPT.

Wasilla Police Department

November 4 at 11:57 p.m., WPD arrested Taylor Wheatley following a traffic stop. The passenger, Gloria Ramirez was issued a citation and released and Wheatley had an outstanding warrant. The vehicle was seized for a drug investigation and Wheatley was taken to MSPT.

November 5 at 3:21 a.m., WPD arrested Dusty Neil for MIWS 3 following a medical assist call on East Creekside Drive.

November 6 at 9:22 a.m., WPD received a report that someone had stolen over $5,000 from Performance Yamaha.

November 2 at 8:30 p.m., WPD arrested Michael Evans for Assault 4 (DV).

November 8, WPD arrested 33-year-old Crystal Churchill of Willow was arrested following a report of suspicious activity. Churchill had four outstanding warrants and was additionally charged with False Information and taken to MSPT.

November 8, WPD received a tip of the location of 27-year-old Brandon Anderson of Wasilla. Anderson was arrested on Indian Hills Drive on a $10,000 cash appearance arrest warrant for Probation Violation on the O/C of SAM 2 and was additionally charged with Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Anderson was taken to MSPT without bail.

November 8 at 10:59 p.m., WPD received a report of a semi truck theft in progress near Spruce Avenue in Wasilla and located 56-year-old Gary Truitt driving the stolen vehicle on Church Road. Truit struck drove into the victim at low speed, struck the victim himself and with the door of the vehicle and was also DUI and in possession of a firearm. The victim also informed WPD that 34-year-old Travis Truitt pointed a gun during the incident. Gary Truitt was arrested for Vehicle Theft 1, Assault 3 and 4, Criminal Mischief 3, Leaving the Scene of an Injury Accident, DUI, MIWS 4 and Refusal. The case is still under investigation and additional charges may follow. Travis was unable to be located, but criminal charges are likely to be filed against Travis as well.

November 9 at 6:30 a.m., WPD K9 Echo assisted AST in locating Maximillian Mirassou as a felony elude and felony assault suspect.

November 9 at 9:38 p.m., WPD received a report of a 41-year-old Terry Jernigan of Wasilla calling his friends and telling them that he was driving under the influence. Jernigan was located near Edlund Road and Knik-Goose Bay Road and showed visible signs of impairment. Jernigan failed FST’s and provided a breath sample of .182 after he was arrested for DUI, DWLR, VCOR, and refused to provide a breath sample at the time. When Jernigan was taken to MSPT he provided the breath sample.

November 10 at 2:06 a.m., WPD arrested 40-year-old April Merculief after she had been reported as a dangerous driver. Merculief showed signs of impairment and failed FST’s and provided a breath sample of .171. Merculief was arrested for DUI and taken to MSPT.

November 10 at 10:34 a.m., WPD received a report of a credit card and $600 in cash stolen from a vehicle at Brett Memorial Ice Arena.

November 11 at 4:22 a.m., WPD arrested Kyle Ray on a warrant and was additionally charged with MIWS 4 and 5.

November 11 at 1:13 p.m., WPD received a report that someone had taken $700 worth of items from a vehicle.

November 11 at 5:37 p.m., WPD arrested Paul Dennis and issued a citation to Andrew Pullen following a single vehicle collision near Bogard Road and Peck Street. Dennis had an outstanding warrant for False Information and Pullen was charged with false plates and DWLI through the DAO.

November 11 at 7:14 p.m., WPD issued a summons to 26-year-old Dillon Dooley of Big Lake for DWLR.

November 11 at 8:24 p.m., WPD arrested James Johnson for Criminal Trespassing, Resisting Arrest, and VCOR at an address near Glenn Circle.

November 11 at 8:44 p.m., WPD arrested Thomas Noland for Assault 4 (DV) following a report of domestic violence near Centurian Place. Noland was taken to MSPT.

November 12 at 11:42 p.m., WPD arrested 27-year-old Charles Moffatt following a disturbance near Fred Meyer. Moffatt was charged with VCOR, and Criminal Mischief 4 and taken to MSPT.

November 12 at 6:54 p.m., WPD arrested Amanda Ackerman for VCOR near Willow Street. Ackerman was taken to MSPT.

November 13 at 1:45 a.m., WPD arrested Mario Johnson for DUI and was additionally cited for having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

November 14 at 12:21 a.m., WPD arrested Robert Maloff for Trespass 2 and Criminal Mischief 5 after receiving a report of an intoxicated male in Carrs refusing to leave and opening food packages. Maloff was taken to MSPT.

November 14, WPD arrested 29-year-old Travis Thornton of Wasilla following a disturbance on Lucille Street. Thornton was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and taken to MSPT where he was released O/R.

November 15 at 7:17 p.m., WPD arrested 37-year-old Brandon Miller at the Holiday gas station. MIller was arrested for VCOR and provided a breath sample of .224 and taken to MSPT.

November 16 at 7:27 a.m., WPD arrested 30-year-old Josephine Nelson following a report of a dangerous driver. Nelson was arrested for DUI and taken to MSPT.

November 17 at 12:10 a.m., WPD arrested 37-year-old Jacqueline Yunak following a report of domestic violence off Wasilla Street. Yunak was charged with Assault 4 (DV) and taken to MSPT.

November 17 at 7:50 p.m., WPD responded to a report of a drug deal at Carrs and arrested 37-year-old Kendal Bucholz of Wasilla. Bucholz was in possession of suspected heroin but was released from scene. The suspected heroin was sent to the Alaska State Crime Lab for identification and one MICS 5 charge was forwarded to the DAO.
