ALASKA STATE TROOPERS
June 18 at 8:51 a.m., AST attempted to contact a male at Three Bears who was stealing a license plate off a vehicle. The stolen license plate was located with 30-year old Christopher Dosch of Wasilla who had fled but was contacted at 3:40 p.m., at Fred Meyer in Palmer. Dosch was ultimately identified with assistance from DOC after he was arrested at Fred Meyer and gave a false name and charged with False Information and two warrants for Theft 2 and Theft 3. Dosch’s vehicle was seized.
June 19 at 10:18 a.m., AST arrested 58-year-old Jeffrey Scott Lee of Wasilla for DUI in the Meadow Lakes neighborhood. Lee was taken to MSPT on $500 bail.
June 20 at 12:01 a.m., AST arrested 46-year-old Pamela Apangalook of Wasilla for an outstanding warrant and probation violation. Apangalook was taken to MSPT on $500 cash appearance bail.
June 20 at 2:47 a.m., AST forwarded charges of Promoting Contraband 1 and 2 and MICS 4 to the DAO for Pamela Apangalook who was discovered to have controlled substances in her person.
June 20 at 5:20 p.m., AST arrested 36-year-old Chad Oukrop of Palmer for violating a DVPO and VCOR on East Gold Bullion Boulevard in Palmer. Oukrop was taken to MSPT without bail.
June 20 at 7:56 p.m., AST arrested 40-year-old Jason Freeland and 26-year-old Damali Clements, both of Wasilla. Troopers had responded to a report from a victim of a carjacking who had been pistol whipped and forced into a second vehicle from which the victim managed to escape. Troopers contacted Freeland and clements at a residence where the stolen vehicle was located and charged Freeland with Robbery 1, Kidnapping, two counts of Assault 3, Theft 2, Vehicle Theft 1 and MIW 3. Clements was charged with Robbery 1, Kidnapping, Assault 3, Theft 2, and Vehicle Theft 1. Both are held without bail.
June 21 at 2:00 a.m., AST arrested 30-year-old Joseph Ortega of Wasilla for DUI after he was reported as a dangerous driver and found slumped over the wheel of his 2004 Ford pickup in a parking lot on Knik-Goose Bay Road in Wasilla. Ortega was taken to MSPT on $1,000 bail.
June 22 at 3:00 a.m., AST arrested 30-year-old Zachary Butts of Wasilla for an outstanding Criminal Trespass 1 arrest warrant on Spence Lane in Wasilla. Butts was taken to MSPT.
June 22 at 8:00 a.m., AST arrested 30-year-old Emerson Thompson of Wasilla following a report of a suspicious vehicle in Wasilla. Thompson was visibly impaired and taken to MSPT on $500 cash bail.
June 22 at 3:00 p.m., AST arrested 41-year-old Johnny Hanifer of Big Lake on an outstanding arrest warrant for the O/C of Theft 2 near Big Lake Road and Hollywood Road in Big Lake. Hanifer was taken to MSPT on $1,000 bail.
June 23 at 2:00 a.m., AST arrested 22-year-old Lorenzo Hausser of Wasilla on an outstanding arrest warrant on the O/C of Theft 4 on Sulatna Drive in Wasilla. Hausser was taken to MSPT.
June 23 at 10:01 a.m., AST received a report of a burglarized cabin on South Purinton Parkway in Big Lake. Approximately $100 in fishing gear and two 55-gallon drums of diesel fuel were stolen from a building on the property.
June 23 at 1:13 p.m., AST issued misdemeanor citations to 25-year-old Nicole Droege of Palmer following a stop for an equipment violation on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway and North Double B Street in Wasilla. Droege was charged with DWLR, No Insurance, and Misuse of Registration after driving a vehicle without an ignition interlock device. The vehicle was impounded.
June 23 at 7:41 p.m., AST arrested 22-year-old Jacob McAnulty of Wasilla after he had repeatedly rear-ended someone else’s car while intoxicated and then left near Settler’s Bay Drive and Knik-Goose Bay Road. McAnulty was charged with Assault 3 (DV), Criminal Mischief 4 (DV), DUI, Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test and Leaving the Scene of a Damage Only Collision and taken to MSPT on $500 bail for his second DUI.
June 24 at 7:24 p.m., AST issued a summons to 22-year-old Alex Siaosi of Anchorage near Fireweed Road and Church Street in Palmer following a collision. Siaosi was issued a summons for Driving in Violation of Instructional Permit.
June 24 at 7:46 p.m., AST arrested 35-year-old Jaclyn Young of Wasilla at a residence on Johnsons Road in Wasilla. Young was arrested on two charges of Assault 4 (DV) and taken to MSPT.
June 25 at 12:07 a.m., AST arrested 52-year-old Terry Tomlinson of Wasilla on two outstanding FTA warrants on the O/C of Assault 3. Tomlinson was taken to MSPT on $100 cash bail.
June 25 at 1:01 a.m., AST arrested 28-year-old Taylor Green of Wasilla following a traffic stop on the intersection of Church Road and the Parks Highway in Wasilla. Green had an outstanding warrant for FTA on the O/C of Theft 4 and Disorderly Conduct and was taken to MSPT on $100 cash bail.
June 25 at 8:30 p.m., AST received a report of a theft from Three Bears and stopped 40-year-old Brandon Garrett and 23-year-old Debra Clewis, both of Anchorage, outside the Wasilla Police Department. AST investigation determined that the two had $1,131.19 in merchandise from Three Bears and Clewis had an active arrest warrant from APD. Both were taken to MSPT without bail.
June 26 at 8:20 a.m., Palmer Judicial Services were made aware of an outstanding bench warrant for an inmate housed at MSPT. Court Services officers contacted 31-year-old Jason Hundley of Wasilla on a bench warrant for FTA with a DV Intervention Program. Hundley was arrested at MSPT on $50 cash bail.
ALASKA WILDLIFE TROOPERS
June 15, AWT issued a $120 citation to 53-year-old Lisa Sevier of Wasilla at the Eklutna Tailrace for fishing without a king salmon stamp.
June 18, AWT issued a summons and arraignment date to 35-year-old Mitchell Dennison of Eagle River for taking a brown bear over a bait station on June 14 after the season for brown bears had closed on May 31 in GMU 14A.
June 24, 39-year-old Dana Vargo of Palmer turned herself in to AWT concerning a brown bear she had harvested on June 23 in GMU 16A. Vargo had taken the bear out of season and was issued a summons for Take Brown Bear Closed Season. The skull, hide and meat were seized as evidence.
June 24, AWT issued a $220 citation to 28-year-old Michael Epps of Wasilla at Eklutna Tailrace. Epps was issued a citation for No Sport Fish License.
June 25, AWT in Kodiak issued a $270 citation to 61-year-old Paul Holmberg of Palmer for failure to have his crewmember license in his possession while commercial fishing.
PALMER POLICE DEPARTMENT
June 18, PPD arrested 46-year-old Pete Crooke of Wasilla on $600 in warrants for FTA at a Pretrial Hearing and VCOR on the O/C of Criminal Trespass and MICS. Crooke was taken to MSPT.
June 19, PPD arrested 22-year-old Daniel Corey of Palmer, 19-year-old Andrea Cullington of Wasila, 28-year-old Christopher Moseley of Palmer and 20-year-old Candice Sandvik-Hurt of Wasilla for Criminal Trespass 1. All four were taken to MSPT and released O/R.
June 19, PPD issued a summons to 19-year-old Steven Thornton of Wasilla for Driving Without Liability Insurance.
June 19, PPD arrested 19-year-old Candice Sargeant of Palmer for Assault 4. Sargeant was taken to MSPT without bail.
June 20, PPD forwarded charges to the DAO of Assault 4, Criminal Mischief 4, Attempted Criminal Mischief 5 and two counts of Disorderly Conduct for 30-year-old Jerry Cleveland of Selawik.
June 22, PPD forwarded charges to the DAO of Assault 4 for 35-year-old Mairelle Tyone of Palmer.
June 23, PPD arrested 27-year-old Marissa Tomaganuk of Hooper Bay for VCOR. Tomaganuk was taken to MSPT without bail.
June 23, PPD arrested 23-year-old Jordan Dempsey of Anchorage for DUI. Dempsey was taken to MSPT and released O/R.
June 23, PPD arrested 20-year-old Chase McMichael of Anchorage on $300 in warrants for FTC on the O/C of Theft 1, VCOR, and Providing False Information to a Peace Officer. McMichael was taken to MSPT.
WASILLA POLICE DEPARTMENT
June 17 at 1:23 a.m., WPD arrested Darrell Bussell on an outstanding arrest warrant. Bussell’s car also contained drug paraphernalia and Bussell was taken to MSPT on the warrant and charges of MICS 4 are being forwarded to the DAO.
June 18 at 8:16 a.m., WPD received a report from a city of Wasilla employee that someone had stolen approximately $700 in copper and brass fittings from a secured city yard.
June 19 at 9:10 p.m., WPD arrested Brittany Dolechek for Criminal Trespassing 2 at Value Village where she had previously been trespassed.
June 19 at 1:40 a.m., WPD stopped 21-year-old Amanda Edwards for an equipment violation. Edwards was issued a summons for DWLR to the DAO.
June 19 at 10:09 p.m., WPD arrested 21-year-old Corey Wolff of Wasilla following an altercation at Carrs. Wolff was taken to MSPT on charges of Assault 3.
June 20 at 8:56 p.m., WPD issued a citation to John Seavey who was speeding on a motorcycle. Seavey’s citation was for Unlawful use of Classified License and no insurance. The vehicle was towed by the owner.
June 21 at 12:16 a.m., WPD contacted Peter Emnon at Carrs during security checks. Enmon had an outstanding warrant, provided false information and resisted arrest. Enmon was taken to MSPT.
June 22 at 6:45 p.m., WPD arrested Brandon Miller at the Wasilla Skate Park after Miller was drunk and causing a disturbance. Miller was taken to MSPT on charges of Robbery 2, Theft 2, Theft 4, Harassment 2, Criminal Trespass 2, and two counts of Assault 3.
