June 1 at 11:33 p.m., AST arrested 42-year-old Pete Brown of Wasilla for DUI and Refusal to submit to a chemical test following a two-vehicle collision on Nash Road and the Seward Highway. The other driver, 31-year-old Justin Jacobsen was issued a citation for DWLR. Both vehicles were towed.
June 7 at 6:50 p.m., AST received a report of a church near mile 2 of Big Lake Road in Big Lake that had a window broken in and a suspect entered the building. The suspect’s blood sample was sent for DNA testing.
June 8 at 2:12 a.m., AST arrested 30-year-old Jerry O’Donnell of Wasilla for Assault 4 (DV) following a disturbance near Carmel Road in Wasilla. O’Donnell was taken to MSPT.
June 8 at 8:36 p.m., AST arrested 37-year-old Samuel Becker of Wasilla for DUI following a report of a dangerous driver on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway near Seward Meridian Drive. Becker was taken to MSPT.
June 9 at 10:35 a.m., AST stopped 57-year-old James Braadfladt of Talkeetna near mile 84 of the Parks Highway after he was reported as a dangerous driver. Braadfladt was taken to MSPT for DUI and NVOL and taken to MSPT where he was released O/R.
June 9 at 2:00 p.m., AST received a report of a stolen blue 2004 Volskwagen four-door at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wasilla that was left in the parking lot unlocked with the keys inside. Troopers are reviewing surveillance footage.
June 9 at 5:09 p.m., AST received a report of two ATV’s stolen from a residence off East Sybarite Road in Palmer.
June 9 at 8:28 p.m., AST responded to a report of a stolen cell phone in Sutton. A woman hitchhiking from Palmer to Eureka stole a cell phone from someone who drove her to Sutton.
June 9 at 9:22 p.m., AST arrested 53-year-old Anna Ivanoff of Wasilla for Assault 4 (DV) on Cardiff Lane in Wasilla. Ivanoff was taken to MSPT without bail.
June 9 at 9:39 p.m., AST responded North Little Rock Circle in Wasilla for a report of theft. AST issued a summons to 35-year-old Zoeanne Newhouse of Wasilla for Theft 4 after Newhouse allegedly attempted to steal $200 worth of items.
June 9, AST contacted 36-year-old Brandon Haxton of Wasilla in a suspicious vehicle on the corner of Big Lake Road and Beaver Lake Road. Haxton had two outstanding FTA warrants and was taken to MSPT on $2,100 cash bail. The vehicle Haxton was in was released to the owner.
June 10 a 2:39 a.m., AST arrested 35-year-old Johnnie Netherton of Wasilla for Assault 4 (DV) on Glendale Drive in Wasilla. Netherton was taken to MSPT without bail.
June 10 at 2:43 a.m., AST received a report that someone stole four commercial tires on rims valued at $1,000 from North Bunker Hill Street in Wasilla.
June 10 at 6:26 p.m., AST arrested 38-year-old Leonard Ethrington of Willow for DUI after he was reported as a dangerous driver on the Parks Highway and Meadow Lakes Loop in Big Lake. Ethrington was DWLR from a previous DUI and issued an additional summons and citation.
June 10 at 10:44 p.m., AST responded to a burglary of $1,000 in building materials and $2,000 worth of tools from a residence on North Tamar Circle in Wasilla.
June 11 at 5:15 a.m., AST arrested 45-year-old Genevieve White of Wasilla on Heritage Farm Drive near Knik-Goose Bay Road after she was reported slumped over the wheel of her 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. White was DWLR and charged with Felony DUI after two prior DUI’s, and Felony Refusal. White was taken to MSPT without bail.
June 11 at 12:29 a.m., AST arrested 48-year-old David Duplechain of Houston near King Arthur Drive and No Name Hill Road in Houston. Duplechain was taken to MSPT on an existing warrant arrest from Anchorage on $50 bail.
June 11 at 6:07 p.m., AST responded to a burglary near Rains Drive in Big Lake totaling $880 in stolen items and $300 in property damage.
June 12 at 11:03 a.m., AST arrested 40-year-old Montague James of Wasilla on an outstanding arrest warrant on the O/C of Vehicle Theft 1 and Burglary 1. James was taken to MSPT on $500 cash bail.
June 12 at 11:25 a.m., AST responded to a fuel theft in progress from a property on Sitze Road in Wasilla. Troopers contacted 33-year-old James Sullivan and 23-year-old Valarie Ante on the property and tracked the third suspect who had fled 30-year-old James Oliveri. Sullivan and Ante were charged with Criminal Trespass and Oliveri was arrested and charged with two counts of Criminal Trespass and Probation Violation. Oliveri was taken to MSPT without bail.
June 12 at 12:34 p.m., AST arrested 32-year-old Matthew McCarroll of Wasilla following a disturbance on West Carmel Road in Wasilla. McCarroll was taken to MSPT on charges of Assault 4 (DV) and violating a DVPO.
ALASKA WILDLIFE TROOPERS
June 10, Tok Wildlife Troopers cited 66-year-old Jerry Thibodeau of Wasilla $120 for failing to record fish caught during a personal use fishery.
PALMER POLICE DEPARTMENT
June 3, PPD arrested 22-year-old Christopher Perry of Palmer for DUI and VCOR. Perry was taken to MSPT on $250 bail.
June 3, PPD arrested 26-year-old Nathaniel Schmoe of Anchorage for False Information and $40,000 in warrants for FTC on the O/C of Theft 2 and Assault 1. Schmoe was taken to MSPT.
June 5, PPD arrested 59-year-old Orville Newhall of Big Lake on a $100 warrant for FTA on the O/C of Criminal Trespass 1. Newhall was taken to MSPT.
June 5, PPD arrested 36-year-old Jennifer Lane of Palmer on a $200 FTA warrant on the O/C of Theft. Lane was taken to MSPT.
June 5, PPD issued a summons to 61-year-old Harold Bartko of Palmer for Failure to Stop at the Direction of a Peace Officer 2.
June 7, PPD arrested 60-year-old Robert Obrien of Palmer for DUI. Obrien was taken to MSPT where he was released O/R.
June 8, PPD arrested 55-year-old Walter Deming of Palmer for DUI and no liability insurance. Deming was taken to MSPT on $500 bail.
June 8, PPD arrested 29-year-old David Bierdman-Chakuchin of Palmer for Felony DUI, Theft 4, and driving without liability insurance. Bierdman-Chakuchin was taken to MSPT without bail.
WASILLA POLICE DEPARTMENT
June 3 at 8:00 a.m., WPD charged Jeffery Clement of Wasilla for DWLR and driving without insurance.
June 3, WPD charged Jimmy Lampley with Assault 4 through the DAO following an assault in the Walmart parking lot.
June 4 at 8:00 a.m., WPD charged Marlo Lugar of Houston with operating without liability insurance, driver’s license and registration through the DAO.
June 4 at 1:45 p.m., WPD arrested Brandin Hochstrasser at Fred Meyers for Criminal Trespass 2.
June 4 at 2:21 p.m., WPD charged Roger Ryall with driving in violation of an instructional permit and speeding after he was stopped on the corner of Nelson Avenue and Lucille Street.
June 4 at 8:09 p.m., WPD arrested Brittany Dolechek for Criminal Trespassing 2 at Value Village.
June 5 at 12:04 a.m., WPD arrested 29-year-old Joseph Henson for DUI after he was stopped for speeding and manner of driving. Henson provided a breath sample of .155 for his second DUI offense and was taken to MSPT.
June 5 at 10:39 p.m., WPD arrested 29-year-old Sean Wilder of Wasilla for Criminal Trespass 2 at Walmart.
June 6 at 1:58 a.m., WPD arrested 28-year-old Seth Row-Button of Wasilla for Criminal Trespass 2 after he was reported in a suspicious vehicle in the Walmart parking lot.
June 8, WPD stopped 26-year-old Matthew Spencer of Wasilla for driving without headlights. Spencer failed FST’s and provided a breath sample of .114. Spencer was taken to MSPT on $500 bail.
June 8 at 6:18 a.m., WPD arrested Damon Evans following a disturbance on South Hermon Road. Evans had an active warrant for his arrest and was additionally charged with resisting arrest. Evans was taken to MSPT.
June 8 at 7:40 p.m., WPD arrested 35-year-old Angelo Karatzas of Wasilla for MICS 4 after Karatzas was contacted in the Walmart parking lot during a theft investigation. Karatzas’ drugs were seized and he was taken to MSPT where he was released O/R.
June 8 at 7:59 p.m., WPD arrested Matthew Compton for MICS 3, Assault 3 (DV) and MICS 4 following a disturbance on South Lake Street.
June 8 at 11:53 p.m., WPD issued a summons to Brittany Dolechek for Criminal Trespass 2 from Fred Meyers.
