No foul play is suspected in the Monday afternoon death of a man found unconscious at an area salvage yard on Hollywood Road outside Wasilla.
According to Alaska State Trooper (AST) dispatch, troopers and EMS personnel were called to the scene at around 12:50 p.m. Scanner traffic stated a man was found face down in the mud and “was blue”. AST stated upon arrival, the man had collapsed and was not breathing and that EMS personnel began CPR on-scene.
The man was transported to the hospital for further treatment where, according to AST, he later died. Family members were contacted and revealed the man, who police have yet to identify, had a history of health issues.
