WASILLA — A pair of dead bodies were reported within a 12-minute span at two different locations in the Valley on Saturday.
The first report came at 2:25 p.m. when multiple units reported to Sunset Drive in Wasilla, according to an online dispatched published by the Alaska State Troopers Monday. The body of a male had been found by a hunter. The State Medical Examiner is working to identify the male. The Alaska Bureau of Investigation and the Palmer General Investigation Unit were among the agencies involved in the investigation.
About 12 minutes after the first report, at 2:37 p.m., AST responded to a report of another body found. A male was found deceased in the woods near Buffalo Mine Road, according to troopers. Troopers said foul play is not suspected. The identity of the male has not been released.
