WASILLA — A Willow man was arrested after a 47-minute police chase in the Willow area late Sunday night.
Terry Vincent Brown, 37, reached speeds of more than 100 miles per hour while driving dangerously, according to an online dispatch published Monday. Troopers attempts to pull Brown over at about Mile 88 of the Parks Highway. The 47-minute chase ended at Mile 153. It all started about 11:30 p.m. Sunday night when troopers saw a while 2009 Chevy van heading north on the Parks. The van has been suspected to be tied numerous thefts in the Willow area, troopers said. Prior to his latest arrest, Brown had three outstanding felony warrants in addition to a federal warrant for a probation charge. The latest charges for Brown include failure to stop in the direction of an officer in the first degree and reckless endangerment.
Brown was arraigned Monday afternoon.
