Carol (Simianer) Cook
Carol (Simianer) Cook, age 74, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away February 27, 2021 after a brief illness.
Carol Cook was born on May 18, 1946, to Carl and Pauline Simianer. She was married to her husband, Claude Q. Cook, Jr., for 38 years. Carol worked for the federal government until her retirement in 2006.
Carol was actively involved with her church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved reading, crafting and square-dancing with her “bae-boo”. Carol and Claude (Dutch) lived in many places including Alaska, California, Arizona, and Colorado. They loved traveling and RVing together.
Carol Cook is survived by stepchildren; Darin Cook, Shelli Hadley, Sean Cook, Jon Cook, and Dawn Orsetti; sisters, Len White Bear and Amy Riddle; nieces, Amber Sims and Adriane Clark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Q. Cook, Jr., her parents, and stepdaughter, Mary E. Cook.
She requested that her ashes be spread in one of her favorite places so a memorial was held on the shores of Resurrection Bay in Seward, Alaska in July.
