Jeffrey Thomas Vroman
Jeffrey Thomas Vroman, a longtime resident of Wasilla, AK, passed away on July 30, 2021, at the age of 63, while surrounded by loved ones.
Jeff was born in Titusville, PA where he also graduated from Titusville High School. He came up to Alaska while serving in the military and decided to make it his home due to a love for the hunting, fishing and many other outdoor activities that he enjoyed very much. Jeffrey was also an employee of Chugach Electric where he worked for over 30 years and made many lifelong friendships that also became like family.
He will be remembered for his unconditional love for his children and grandchildren as well as his witty sense of humor, unfailing work ethic and kind heart as he loved to help others and watch them succeed.
He is survived by his children; Ariel Vroman, Cherie Vroman and Dean Vroman, of Wasilla, AK; grandchildren, Drake Burton, Colden Bailey and Kiliegh Goodrich of Wasilla, AK; siblings, John M. Vroman of Titusville, PA, S. Michael Vroman of Lansing, KS, Dianne L. Abrams of Titusville, PA, Debra Vroman of SC, Rebecca Thompson Edwards of Titusville, PA, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents; Phyllis Lorraine Litzinger Vroman and Mantford S. Vroman; siblings, Gayle Vroman Brickner, Linda Thomas Johnson and Rexford M. Vroman.
A memorial service will be held on August 21st at ACF Church, 16620 Brooks Loop, Eagle River, AK at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
