Phillip R. Scalzo
Phil Scalzo, born November 15, 1953, passed away July 11 2019, in Everett Washington after a short battle with cancer.
Phil was born in Jersey City New Jersey to Doris and Camello Scalzo Phil graduated from Weehawken high School in 1971 and influenced by his two uncles who were sheet metal workers. Phil joined the Union and served a four Year apprenticeship and became a skilled journeyman. His skills did not stop there; Phil was also knowledgeable in Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry and Machinery repair. He always had a dozen or more projects going on. His work with the Union took him all over the Country. Maine, Minnesota, Colorado, Oregon, Washington and Alaska to name a few. He always had a story about his travels and adventures. He retired in 2013 and lived in Wasilla, Alaska where he continued to peruse his projects and interests.
He will be missed and remembered by his Mother Doris and sister Melody, his Family and the hundreds of good friends that he made throughout his life and travels.
A remembrance and celebration will be held in November in his hometown in New Jersey. Goodbye Our Friend.
