We want to thank some wonderful people in Wasilla helping my husband and me out after he had a stroke July 27 of this year.

I called the Wasilla Area Seniors and talked to Dennie Jaques and asked if she could help. Yes was her answer. My husband needed a wheelchair, commode and shower seat. All were picked up that day by our granddaughter Samantha.

Then we needed a ride to the doctor. Chuck Foster from Wasilla Area Seniors came and picked us up at our door. A wonderful man. It took a long while at the doctor, but he was so very kind. We are so happy to belong to such a wonderful place.

Tina Ervin of ACE (Austin’s Compassion Exchange), she came to use with a hospital bed, walker and a shower chair. All we needed was to return them to her.

ACE is in honor of her son Austin. At 5 he was in a life-altering automobile accident. Tina started the ACE Lending Closet, a non-profit that provides medical equipment and supplies at no charge.

Last thanks to Well Springs Home Health for sending us nurse Jan Monica, his speech therapist, and Carolina, his physical therapist. We are so thankful to all you have done. May God bless you all. Thank you.

Donna and Gary Dickerson
