Prep soccer

The Pamer Moose girls soccer squad improved to 4-0-0 with a pair of wins at Kodiak.

Palmer notched the two-match series sweep with a 5-0 win over the Bears April 24. Liv Solis led Palmer with a pair of goals. Avery Hill, Catherine Uschmann and Belle Baca also scored. The Moose beat Kodiak 7-0 the night before. Solis and Uschmann scored two goals each. Taylor Miller and Celia Wilkins also scored. Payton Knittle earned the win in the Palmer goal each day.

Palmer beat Nikiski 6-0 on April 22. Uschmann led the Moose with four goals. Miller and Solis also scored.

The Moose opened their season with a 7-0 win over Houston on April 21. Miller and Baca led the Moose with two goals each. Uschmann, Solis, and Elektra Smith also scored.

The Palmer boys split a pair of matches against Kodiak at Palmer High. Fischer Adams led Palmer with a pair of goals during a 4-2 win April 24. Jaxson Lee and Xander Logan also scored. Kodiak beat Palmer 2-0 April 23.

Palmer edged Nikiski 1-0 on April 22. Lee scored the lone goal.

Knights sweep Lathrop, split with West ValleyColony scored a pair of home wins over Lathrop April 23.

Eli Krozel used a hat trick to lead Colony to an 8-0 boys win over the Malemutes. Addison Dobbs added two goals. Quinn Dowd and Isaac Smith also scored. Mark Matthews earned the two-save shutout.

Samantha Johnstone and Sylvanna Saucedo scored during a 2-0 win over the Lathrop girls. Savannah Anderson made four saves and earned the shutout.

The Colony boys beat West Valley 6-2 April 24, Krozel scored twice. Dobbs, Smith, Hunter Wakaliuk and Dimitri Catlett also scored. West Valley beat the Colony girls 4-0.

Wasilla girls notch win, tieWasilla beat Lathrop 3-0 April 24. Kiara Shane led the Warriors with two goals. Emily McDonald also scored. Ella Hale earned the shutout in the Wasilla goal.

Wasilla tied West Valley 1-1 April 23. Alia Shane scored the lone goal for the Warriors.
