WASILLA — Saturday evening from 4 p.m. on, music, fun and drinks will be in the air as the second annual Music in the Bay Festival will rock at the Settlers Bay Golf Course.
Admission is $30 for adults, $15 for children and a family of four get in for $100. Brings five cans of food to the Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce booth and get $5 off the ticket price.
A wide range of music features blues from J.D. Cox, who plays several instruments including lead guitar, pedal steel guitar, bass, mandolin, and harmonica. He has opened for many big name U.S. artists including Tim McGraw, Restless Heart, Exile, Asleep at the Wheel, and Joe Ely. He is also a record producer with 14 albums to his credit.
Also on tap is Anchorage rock band Agents of K.A.R.M.A., who perform both original and cover songs.
Steelhead, which touts itself as “Alaska’s Premier Classic Rock Band,” takes the stage, as does Boogie Shoes, a disco act out of Anchorage.
The night also features plenty of beer, wine, food and a kids’ fun zone.
