PALMER — Two more acts have been confirmed to perform during the 2024 Alaska State Fair.

According to a press release, county music star Justin Moore is set to perform at the Borealis Theatre at 7 p.m. Saturday, August 17.

The multi-platinum artist from Arkansas achieved his 12th number one song “You, Me, and Whiskey,” a hit duet with Priscilla Block, and he recently released his latest single “This Is My Dirt.”

Other number one hits from Moore's career spanning over a decade include “Point at You,” “Lettin’ The Night Roll,” “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away,” “Small Town USA” and “Till My Last Day.”

Moore has numerous platinum-certified albums and singles. He's also earned multiple ACM, ACA, People’s Choice, ACC Awards nominations, and an ACM Award win.

Moore hosts his own podcast where he interviews famous guests from the entertainment industry such as Matthew McConaughey, Tracy Lawrence, Jon Pardi, and Brantley Gilbert.

According to a press release, Straight No Chaser is set to perform at the Borealis Theatre at 6 p.m. Sunday, August 18.

The nine-member RIAA-certified gold a capella group originally formed at Indiana University in the mid-1990s. They reunited and gained new momentum in 2006 after one of the members uploaded their 1998 performance of “The 12 Days of Christmas” to YouTube.

Straight No Chaser has a long list of achievements such as two RIAA Gold-Certified albums, over 1.5 million concert tickets sold, over 1 billion streams on Pandora, and over 2 million albums sold worldwide. Their latest album, “Yacht on the Rocks” released in June 2023.

Justin Moore and Straight No Chaser are now part of the Fair's 2024 concert series with other previously announced acts such as Oliver Anthony, Whiskey Myers, Mt. Joy, Kolohe Kai, Ludacris, Stephen Sanchez, NEEDTOBREATHE, Wynonna Judd, Halestorm, and Theory of a Deadman.

Concert-goers have the option to purchase concert-only tickets or tickets that include Fair admission. Concert tickets that include Fair admission must be purchased by August 15. The included admission comes at a discounted price and only works for the day of the concert.
