The Palmer Moose Nordic Booster Club’s annual Turkey Trax community ski race is set for Nov. 26 at the Government Peak Recreation Area. The event is a fundraiser for the Moose Nordic Ski Team.
The freestyle, 4-kilometer “fast wave” begins at 11 a.m., followed by a 4K or 1K “party wave” at noon. Prizes for male and female winners in the fast wave will be awarded.
Day of registration starts at 10 a.m., and bib pick-up runs from 10-10:45 a.m. Entry fees are $20 for an individual, $40 for a family and $10 for students. Every entrant will be registered for a pie drawing following the race.
