Apply for ‘Block Party’ grants

MAT-SU — Residents are invited to apply for one of 10 Block Party grants for $500 from United Way of Mat-Su.

This grant is intended for neighborhoods to meet and form positive relationships to build connectedness; not for agencies/businesses. Parties should be scheduled between May and October.

Grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will be reviewed and will either be accepted or rejected as they are turned in.

There also is a short Block Party Event Wrap-Up Report that needs to be completed and turned in as soon as possible after the event. For more information, contact 745-5827, or impact@unitedwaymatsu.org.
