PALMER — Have you ever wondered what kind of art our teachers produce? Have you ever wondered what goes on in their minds? The Art of Teachers exhibition will give people a glance into those dark recesses. There is no censoring, no banning of art for religious symbolism — anything goes and some is extraordinarily beautiful. All of it is interesting.

Madd Matters, 1088 S. Colony Way, Palmer, will host its first Art of Teachers show from 6 to 8 p.m., May 12, with a special preview for students today.

During the exhibition, people will be asked to vote on their favorite works.

Palmer Mayor DeLena Johnson, who is responsible for dreaming up this show, will present an award to the artist/teacher who receives the most votes.
