Auditions are Feb. 23-24 for ‘The Beverly Hillbillies’

WASILLA — Auditions for Valley Performing Arts’ production of “The Beverly Hillbillies” — last play of the 37th season — is from 1 to 4 p.m., Feb. 23 and from 5 to 7 p.m., Feb. 24 at Valley Performing Arts, 251 W. Swanson Ave.

Based on Paul Henning’s television series by the same name, director Larry Burton is looking for 12 female and nine male actors of varying age ranges with a lot of energy. After acting in several VPA shows, this will be Burton’s first time directing a performance for its stage.
