Author honored with 2014 ‘Individual Artist Award’

Alaska novelist — and former Mat-Su Valley Frontiersman reporter — Eowyn Ivey of Chickaloon will receive this year’s Individual Artist Award as part of the 2014 Governor’s Awards for the Arts and Humanities. The Alaska Humanities Forum and Alaska State Council on the Arts jointly announced the awards Friday, which will be presented during the annual awards ceremony Jan. 30 at the Juneau Arts and Culture Center.
