PALMER — The Mat-Su Borough Assembly has scheduled an emergency meeting for Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Mat-Su Borough building.
The assembly will discuss an ordinance re-appropriating funds to cover costs of the emergency that was declared due to the earthquake with a magnitude of 7.0 that struck Southcentral Alaska Friday morning, according to a statement issued by the borough Monday.
The Mat-Su Borough administration has scheduled a press conference for today at 4 p.m.
