BOROUGH ELECTION UPDATE: Sykes projected to keep assembly seat
Mat-Su Borough Assembly member Jim Sykes, kept his District 1 seat Tuesday night.
With just one precinct yet to report, that being Farm Loop, the incumbent had a nearly unsurmountable 1,140-998 lead in unofficial tallies.
Farm Loop has more than 2,200 registered voters, but with an average of only about 25 percent voting in each district, Endle would need to win by a substantial margin to make up the difference.
