Colony Christmas sponsor appreciation

focus of Palmer Chamber meeting

A 2016 Colony Christmas sponsor appreciation luncheon will be the featured program at the weekly Greater Palmer Chamber of Commerce meeting Dec. 7. Networking time begins at 11:45 a.m. with the program beginning at noon. The program fee is $5, lunch is $15 or a soup and salad option is $8. The meeting will be held at the Palmer Moose Lodge, 1136 S. Cobb St. For more information, call 745-2880.

Taste of Talkeetna set Dec. 10

The 2016 Taste of Talkeetna will be held from 4-8 p.m. Dec. 10 and will feature fare from seven local restaurants: Denali Brew Pub, Kahiltna Bistro, Latitude 62,’ Mountain High Pizza Pie, Talkeenta Roadhouse, the Flying Squirrel Bakery and the West Rib Pub and Grill. Tickets are $50 each.

According to the Talkeetna Chamber of Commerce, after dinner the fun will move to the Fairview Inn, where the chamber will continue the night by drawing the names of eight winners for a range of prizes.

A Taste of Talkeetna ticket is the entry into the drawing. Must be present to win.
