Mullen in Helena, Montana. She graduated High School in Rawlings, Wyoming. She attended Carroll College in Helena Montana where she met and later married William “Ned” Imlach of Anchorage, Alaska. She spent the next 62 years building a loving home for her family. Carol dedicated her life to her husband and 5 children. The early years were spent transferring to various duty stations across the United States while Ned served in the US Navy, both domestic and abroad.
Upon retiring from military duty in 1984, they settled in Wasilla.
Together they started Alaskan Family Dental Center, and over the next 19 years, built a successful dental practice. Carol and Ned took great pride in serving their community. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she loved unconditionally. She was an ardent supporter of education and took special pride in watching each of her children earn their college degrees. Carol was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic parish and dedicated her time to acts of service within her religious community; a prayer warrior, volunteering on the funeral committee and supporting the ACTS retreat.
