Coast Guard rescues lost puppy from Black Point in Kodiak

The four-person crew, who were aboard the fishing vessel Laura, safely boarded a life raft but Grace had already jumped into the freezing water and was presumed lost.

On average, the U.S. Coast Guard conducts over 40 rescues daily. On November 2, the Coast Guard had a rescue of the canine kind. A lost puppy was rescued from Black Point after the crew was rescued 2 days prior.
