November Art Walk Map

The final Palmer Art Walk of 2014 is scheduled from 2 to 6 p.m., Nov. 8, and the theme is “Sew Thankful.”

In conjunction with the theme, several local artists have used their artistic flare to create distinctive art pieces from old sewing machines generously donated by Thrifters Rock.

The sewing machines will be on display at the Palmer Museum during the art walk, and will be sold as part of a silent auction fundraiser to support the 2015 Palmer Art Walk.

This month’s walk also includes a “Kids of Kindness” art display by Academy Charter School fourth-grade students at various Palmer locations. The show is part of the World Kindness Week.
