WASILLA — Valley residents are invited to bring their unwanted documents and cellphones for recycling from 10 a.m. to noon, Oct. 19 at the Wells Fargo in Cottonwood Creek Mall, 1701 E. Parks Hwy. Shred Alaska and the Better Business Bureau are sponsoring the “Secure Your ID Day” event.
During the free event, people are invited to drive up and drop off up to three grocery bags or boxes of documents to be securely shredded on the spot. Used cellphones will be collected and safely recycled courtesy of HopeLine; all stored information will be wiped prior to recycling.
