More than 40,000 bulbs were powered and lit up on Saturday night at Gage Tree Service. For the second year in a row, Gage lit up the massive cottonwood tree on their property with 40,000 warm yellow lights and over 200 green and red lights, a new addition for this year. Gage Tree Service hoste the Colony High School Vivace Choir who performed Christmas carols as the tree was lit. Prior to the lighting, Gage Tree Service gave away holiday gift cards and provided hot chocolate and cookies that were donated. More than two dozen people were amazed by the massive display of lights on the Palmer-Wasilla Highway. Rachel Maher with Gage Tree Service said that the tree will stay lit until March of 2020.
