WASILLA — Cheechako troubadour Hurricane Dave and the unorthodox Nuther Brothers duo will link up as a trio from 8 p.m. to midnight, Sept. 12 at the Northshore Ale House, 1850 E. Bogard Road.

Hurricane Dave, “Alaska’s Favorite Cheechako,” is known for his quirky original songs about living in the Last Frontier, and has been entertaining audiences across the state since moving here from Florida more than six years ago.

In addition to original material, Dave plays a mix of folk, country, blues and classic rock ‘n’ roll covers.

Guitarist Michael Faubion and bassist Tom Torvie combine solid musicianship with two-part harmonies to create a Nuther brand of country, blues, swing and rockabilly.

Faubion also is an established Alaska songwriter, best recognized for his solo album, “Paris on the Kuskokwim,” a collection of songs about life in Bethel.
