Jack Lee Cypher was born October 1,1950 in Denver Co.
He passed away May 5, 2023, at his home in Wasilla.
Jack spent his childhood years in the mountains of Coal Creek Canyon, CO.
After graduating high school, he attended CSU in Fort Collins and went on to get his Associates Degree in Wasilla AK.
His relentless desire to absorb knowledge of all things, led him to pursue a professorship at Mat-Su Community College where he taught until his retirement in 2014.
He was known as one of the quietest most reliable on the teaching staff and was a cornerstone in developing vocational options for university students.
He had a great interest in the history of our country as well as the history of his family.
In his retirement years he and his mother did an extensive family history tour throughout the country, compiling a very complete family ancestry.
He will be greatly missed and remembered for his generosity and thoughtfulness.
