JBER prepares for 2019 Combined Federal Campaign

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON, Alaska — This year’s Combined Federal Campaign is scheduled to kick off at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Sept. 30.

CFC is the federal government’s workplace giving campaign allowing federal employees to donate to one or several causes and organizations that matter to them most.

According to their website, CFC is the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with almost 200 CFC campaigns throughout the country and overseas.

JBER key workers, assigned by unit leadership, will be embedded as a point of contact for those interested in donating and to answer questions about CFC.

“With the assistance of our knowledgeable staff, and the convenience of either a one-time donation or incremental donation, CFC is the ideal avenue for donating,” said Air Force Master Sgt. Jehu A. Forte, JBER CFC coordinator.

Arctic warriors, their families and retirees can donate by payroll deduction, credit card, check and/or volunteer hours
