WASILLA — Kimbra Mensch will perform her comedy show “Kickin’ Cancer’s Butt One Laugh at a Time” free at 6 p.m., July 17 at the Dorothy G. Page Museum, 323 N. Main St.
Mensch, a past participant in the museum’s annual Brassieres to Nowhere exhibit, will perform her act now since she will be touring with her act during the exhibit.
Mensch’s routine recounts the real life experience of losing her mother and husband to cancer and her own fight with and survival of breast cancer.
“We are excited to be one of her performances in the Valley before she heads out on her national tour,” said Bethany Buckingham, curator of the Dorothy G. Page Museum. “This is an amazing story and laughter is one of the best healers.”
