Kerstie was welcomed into this world on January 12, 1993, to Racheal Rice and Paxton Hofmeyer. She was a bright and beautiful light in this world from the moment she was born, bringing much joy to those around her. Kerstie’s tender heart was apparent from a young age. Throughout her life she would typically be found with any number of God’s creations in her hands to love on.

Kerstie thrived on adventure and loved the Alaskan outdoors. Her cooking and baking talents were unsurpassed.

Her unique style of artwork was stunningly beautiful. She was highly intelligent and inquisitive about many subjects; bringing her to be a deep thinker about the world around her.

Kerstie had a passion for her family and for her friends. She had a desire to be someone who would make real changes in the world. Kerstie had an intense hunger to know and follow Jesus. Her desire to honor God and live her life based on Scripture became her focal point at the end of her short time on this earth. The loved ones that she left behind upon her passing into eternity on March 17, 2021, are comforted knowing she is in the arms of our heavenly Father.

Her family would like to extend an invitation to join in the celebration of Kerstie’s life on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Creekside Church in Wasilla, Alaska, from 4:00-6:00 pm.
