The public is invited to an open house from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., Dec. 6 at Goose Bay Elementary Gymnasium, 6400 Hollywood Rd., Wasilla, to provide input on the Knik-Goose Bay Road Reconstruction Project from Centaur Avenue at Mile 0.3 to Vine Road at Mile 6.8.
According to the State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, the purpose of the project is to improve mobility for people and freight and to enhance access management between Centaur Avenue and Vine Road.
To comment on the project, people can stop by the Open House Dec. 6, or send comments by Jan. 4, 2013.
