Leadership workshop offered June 23

PALMER — A Leadership Workshop for Small Organizations is offered from noon to 4 p.m., June 23 at the MTA main office and training facility, 480 Commercial Dr. The workshop includes three one-hour sessions sponsored by Straub Strategies, The Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce, Toastmasters and MTA.

The first session from noon to 1 p.m. is about board of directors’ roles and protocols. The second session from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. is about effective vs. defective meetings. The third session from 3 to 4 p.m. is about parliamentary procedures for the informal meeting.

Each session costs $40 to attend.
