WASILLA — Valley Performing Arts’ production of “Let’s Murder Marsha” opens this weekend and includes two special Thursday-night performances.
Directed by Patricia Blossom, the play is not a stereotypical murder mystery. Hilarity ensues when Marsha, a happy housewife addicted to reading murder mysteries, overhears her husband discussing her upcoming birthday and mistakenly concludes he is planning to murder her.
Shows are at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and Sundays at 2 p.m., Jan. 9 to Jan. 25 in the Fred and Sara Machetanz Theater, 251 W. Swanson Ave., Wasilla.
Thursday night performances also are planned at 7 p.m., Jan. 15 and Jan. 22.
Ticket prices are $17 for students and seniors, $19 for adults.
