To the editor:
More restrictive gun rights and laws can only produce the same results.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting the outcome to change. Well it's not going to change until America takes a different approach. Where there's a will there's a way. So long as humans have free choice and free will, nothing can prevent the morally corrupt and their poisonous atrocities they inflict on our nation.
We need to cast the media to the wayside so to speak when dealing with home-grown terror. And answer such crime with their own measure. I couldn't begin to fantasize as to what drives such terrible acts, but all the news coverage received ought to be enough glamour and fame for some. We shouldn't entertain bad behavior and instead should meet it head on. And aggressively. You want to be a puke and and affect millions by mass shooting? Well, you should have to accept what you put out. No courts. Our judicial system has enough on its plate. Look. You're flat-out caught. Red handed. Undeniably. Why should our nation have to pay for you to eat and sleep warmly and the protection from others' vigilant recourse?
It's a sham. We need to deliver with the very mechanisms and with the very mite that has been projected upon us. We need to make an example of this crime. Let it be known that America will mirror such acts with shear vengeance. That America will not stand for it. And that America will not glamorize anything of it. We shouldn't blow it up with nationwide coverage allowing the gratifications to award sickened people. You mass kill. We answer with your bullets, your means and remove you permanently. Some, brief, exposure is necessary. to get the message out that were done playing. But even this should be minimal. Word of mouth has always been an effective means of communication. So let us people gossip about the last time a mass shooting happened. We can't give these killers any credit or they will continue to expect us to serve them these credits. We are perversely stroking their fantasies.
Come on America. We've tried so many times with gun restrictions and still people do what they will. Let us try another approach. Something more final.
