LETTER: Opposed to tax reform bill

Hello Senator Murkowski,

Please reconsider your support for the radical and corrupt Republican tax reform bill. There is nothing conservative about this tax bill. We need to return to the progressive taxation and middle class focus that created the largest and most dynamic economy in recorded history.

Giving would-be plutocrats, the economic elite, tax breaks they don't need is bad for the long term economy. Customers create jobs. Lots of customers, a large and thriving middle class, drives a virtuous cycle that increases the size of the economic pie quicker than any other engine we know of. Increasing income inequality and a shrinking middle class reduces the number of customers in the economy, slows growth and eventually collapses the economy. Do the right thing and support real tax reform that focuses on building a vibrant growing middle class, invests in infrastructure, education and health. Reject the current tax bill that only supports short term greed and casino capitalism. Instead work on truly conservative, bi-partisan, evidence based tax reform that supports long term economic investments. The long term health and growth of the US economy is based on a large, economically secure middle class, a middle class that owns wealth, and a well educated, healthy citizenry. Don't feed the greed of a handful of wealthy Americans. Instead, be truly conservative, pay our own way, all of us, right now, and invest in the future.

Please, Senator Murkowski, oppose this short sighted, greedy and economically insane Republican tax reform bill.
