PALMER — Palmer Arts Council presents music by the bands “The Westchester Collective” and “Iota” from 7 to 9 p.m., Sept. 15 at Vagabond Blues.
Westchester Collective is an Anchorage-based folk duo that consists of Michael Howard and Heather Stewart. The band has performed a range of music from traditional to modern folk and acoustic pieces to originals on folk festivals stages around Alaska. Howard also recently released his first solo album, “The Caribou and the Wolf.” “Iota” is made up of Valley music veterans Josh Fryfogle, Meggie Aube and Joe Hartman. Fryfogle heads the band, Aube performs on the marimba and Hartman plays double bass.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students/seniors/military and are available at Vagabond Blues or Fireside Books in Palmer.
